Draft. Free pour on the house. Always nice. Dark brown pour. Aroma is traditional porter. Cocoa nad malt english yeast. Flavor follows good stuff. BlackBeerPG (981) - Darien, Illinois, USA - AUG 28, 2016
Taste: Toasted rich dark malts, smooth, clean finish. Malty roasted grain nose.
Black/Brown, opaque with a decent tan head with webbed lattice of lace.
Medium, not really full body. Nice porter the way a porter should be. 32 IBUs rondphoto (4508) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - JUL 8, 2016
on tap @ Crown Brewing / Crown Point IN --- (rating from 5/1/11) Dark coffee color, light head, light lace. Taste is heavy, thick, roasted malt with mild carbonation, and a mild bitter finish. Solid, balanced, and easy to drink. hopscotch (11425) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 26, 2014
Bottle (a gusher)... This is obviously infected, so let’s see what’s left. Pours murky and brown with a HUGE beige head. The aroma is mostly chocolate, but there’s a lightly fecal aspect here as well. It disappears after sitting in the glass for a few minutes. Medium-bodied with a watery mouthfeel and stinging carbonation. The flavor is moderately roasty with a light, misplaced, tart element. Fortunately, the acidity is clean and the bacteria have whittled away at the residual sugar, so this isn’t a sweet/tart mess of grossness. Finishes lightly tart and tangy. This could have been much worse. Heads-up to the brewer - clean your shit up a bit. :-) Bottle courtesy of BVery! BVery (11458) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 2, 2014
Tap at the brewpub. Dark brown pour - borderline black. Soapy beige head. Soft roasty malts on the nose. Slightly sweeter on taste. Solid.

Bomber. Pours dark brown with tan head. Aromas of chocolate and roast. Flavors are much the same. Roast, chocolate, bit of a caramel note. Body is thin and this did not scream imperial anything. ccex (1390) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 29, 2013
Bomber pours a dark brown with small tan head and not much lacing. Aroma is not overpowering but has noticeable chocolate/fudge, roasted malts, bready malts, and a touch of coffee. Taste is slightly sweet with some bitterness in the finish. Body is medium with only slight carbonation. Smooth and easy to drink. Nothing outrageous here, but a very solid local porter I’ll gladly try again. BBB63 (6567) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - DEC 24, 2013
Bomber bottle and served in nonic pint glass: Pours a deep cola brown with a fading beige head and no much lace. The aroma has notes of chocolate brownies, roasted walnuts, toasted bread, light coffee and some herbal hop esters too. The taste is nicely malty without being overly sweet, touch of dark fruit and nutty notes. Finish is mildly bitter from the char and hops. The mouth feel is smooth and easy to drink. Nothing fancy pants but a darn solid porter and nothing wrong with that. Patrickctenchi (6807) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - MAY 31, 2013
Black with a dark brown head.
Robust coffee/chocolate aroma.
Taste is the same... almost a fudge brownie richness.
Really nice. kseecs16 (1216) - Naperville, Illinois, USA - APR 29, 2013
Draught at the brewery. Pours an opaque dark brown with a whispy off-white head. Good, straightforward chocolate, roast porter with a bold flavor and a slightly bitter finish. A nice flavorful example of the style but nothing exciting here. Moderate carbonation and watery mouthfeel.
