Cask @ Hillsborough Hotel, Sheffield.Black with a small,creamy,beige head. Roasted malt, caramel,coffee and some dark chocolate. Very smooth,rich flavor. nice one.

Low beige head to a more or less jet black body. Mild roasted dark malts to the nose. Taste of chocolate malts added by a backdrop of dark bitter fruits. Medium bodied. Well made stout. Gravity, half, at Steel City Beer Festival, Sheffield 2 Oct 10.

[email protected] Stortford Beer Festival 2010 (5.0 % ABV). Quite much pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is chocolate, some toffee, caramel, roasted malts, dark berries and mild coffee. Flavour is caramel, dark dry fruits, some wood and liquorice. Pleasant and nice.

Cask at Hillsborough Hotel, Sheffield. A pitch black beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and some soy sauce. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, caramel, and a bit of wood, leading to a very dry and roasted finish. Nice one.

Cask handpull at Hillsborough Hotel, Sheffield. Black, thin tan head.. Some liquorice. Bitter. Really hard roasted malt. Some choc. Its alright, just a bit juicy rather than dry.
