Sampler pours golden with a white head. Aroma of grass, caramel and some biscuits. taste is bready and caramel. cbfobes (2883) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - SEP 3, 2012
Poured from 12oz bottle, pours a clear copper with a thin white head and bubbles coming up through the entire glass, aroma is of caramel and slight bread notes, the flavor has a lot of caramel and malt on the front end with a sweet fruity finish, not a ton there but drinkable, not bad. wlajwl (6751) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - AUG 24, 2012
Aroma is bready malts and a hint of spice. The flavor is bread, undertones of fruit and a smooth finish. Ibrew2or3 (8607) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - AUG 2, 2012
12oz bottle courtesy of seymour pours deep gold with copper hues and light tan head. The aroma offers up big bready sweet maltiness followed by biscuit malts and some lagery yeasty like esters. The taste is similar with tasty rich bready sweet maltiness heading into lagery yeasty esters, floral hop flavor and a mild level of bitter floral hops. At times it has dashes of roasted malts. This is a solid Amber Lager.

Bottle sent to me by seymour a while back, and I rated it on paper... a while back. Time to get this sucka in the database. Bif (2237) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - MAY 9, 2012
Pours a deep golden with a tight fluffy white head and some lace.
The aroma doesn’t have a particularly distinct smell, it’s malty and lightly sweet smelling. Miles from offensive, but just sort of "plain" smelling.
The flavor is malty and rich with some nice herbal hoppy notes. The beer is clean and pleasant on all accounts.
Bottle- Pours a copper color with a decent head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of malt, caramel, some citrus and a hint of spice. Taste of malt sweetness, caramel, some grain and a bit of spice. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Medium body, smooth with a nice texture. Quite enjoyable. nice beer from a regional brewer. gregwilsonstl (2467) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAR 21, 2012
Wonderful deep and sweet caramelized aroma and taste. Nice amber appearance. Very clean lager. Medium body, medium carbonation, and medium IBUs. This is a tasty and well balanced brew. seymour (2001) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - JAN 16, 2012
Tasted from bottle into nucleated pint glass. Poured a nice clear amber color with fluffy white head, somewhat lasting. Very neutral aroma, but very faint malt, earthy/citrusy/mildly spicy hops, a little lager yeast pepper phenol. Flavor was restrained too, but malt-sweetness and tangy hops bitterness were perfectly balanced, vaguely reminiscent of freshly-baked bread, honey, apricots, caramel. Light-medium body, average carbonation, well-rounded mouthfeel. Crisp, clean lager finish. Not a remarkably flavorful beer, but no flaws either. I would describe this as a perfect table beer. I drank mine with fish and chips, coleslaw and orange slices. I gotta tell you, this beer made the meal heavenly. A more extreme brew would’ve been distracting. Draft at the brewpub. It poured a dark golden color with an off-white head. The aroma was of malt, caramel, and bread. The taste was of the same with a bit more maltiness and sweetness.
