Tried this beer warm and cool and it stands up. Good complexity and balance in the malt and hops. Awesome beer! deanls (17) - Eureka, USA - MAR 25, 2014
UPDATED: JUN 20, 2014 This beer is the bomb. No wait a minute, it’s the Gunslinger. If you like a hop punch in the face this is for you. Totally see the Old West Cowboy riding off firing his gun in the air. If you drive a Prius and wear a tie to work, you will not like this. This is a Top Tier. IPA. firemarshal (206) - North Carolina, USA - NOV 29, 2013
Bottle into shaker. Opaque-cloudy, honey amber in color, medium foamy off-white lasting head. Heavy floral honey aroma with plenty of fresh squeezed orange juice citrus, light cinnamon, cloves, chamomile tea. Sweet honey and citrus flavors up front with pine and nuts in the middle, lasting bitter flavor. Palate almost surely overrides some flavor with a fizzy beginning, full body, bitter finish. This is a fantastic beer. I will buy this again. hfmejias (1283) - Marshall, Minnesota, USA - NOV 30, 2012
Great aroma, not that hoppy, more grassy and sweeter than I expected from a double ipa; overall a very enjoyable beer. Nsanders (1156) - St Paul, Minnesota, USA - OCT 18, 2013
Bottle. Deep amber with a tall white foamy head. Malty, light caramel, tropical and light resinous hop. Flavor is quite sweet with a light bitter finish. Medium bodied. Less bitter than the average IPA, quite tasty.

12oz bottle, courtesy of gregwilsonstl, pours with a clear copper body that supports a dirty white head of foam. The aroma offers up sweet citrus, a dash of malts, some mango and then a mild resiny spicy hoppiness at the end of the draw. The taste delivers pleasing citrusy hops that are malt sweetened into a juicy sensation. Grapefruit and tangerine hop bitterness quickly fills in behind and heading into a dash of spicy hop bitterness. This is a straight up tasty hop treat where the decent size ABV is hardly noticeable. This may even venture into the realm of dangerously drinkable. jsquire (4538) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - DEC 26, 2015
Orange amber color with a sticky off white head. Big hop nose of candied orange and resin. Some crusty bread but mostly hops in the flavor. Orange, tangerine, candied grapefruit, apricot, and a long resin finish make this a good hop head beer. And the abv will sneak up on you. Finhead (1783) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - JUL 11, 2012
Hazy, reddish-orange pour with a white head. The aroma has a light fruitiness with floral hops and bready malt. It has a medium body with a slightly creamy texture and lively carbonation. The taste is well balanced. It begins bitter, becomes mildly sweet, and finishes dry. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - OCT 30, 2013
