COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s not a Pale and it’s not an IPA—it’s “on the fence.” A solid malt backbone with significant hop flavors and aromas (Centennial and Citra), medium alcohol and bitterness.

Draft nitro pour at Green Dragon. The creamy inch+ head almost looked like espresso crema (first class). The nitro makes the beer SO smooth, it tastes like a lightly carbonated kombucha, in essence taking the hoppy bite completely out. But even with that said, this is straight up delicious!

tap at Brouwer’s Cafe in Seattle. Nitro tap so the head was very creamy. Caramel sugary body. something was a bit off with the hop profile, overly tannic.

IndianaRed (4609) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 16, 2015
On Tap at the Bend Brew Pub Deep goleden orange with a trace of wispy off-white lacing. Good up front NW style hoppy aroma and flavors. Some woody bitterness at the end. Malty and fairly strong

mcberko (17809) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 26, 2015
On nitro tap at Apex, pours a hazy dark copper orange with a medium white head. Aroma brings out weird herbal hops and some stale biscuity malt. Flavour is similar, with skunky herbal hops and biscuity malt that’s a bit stale. Not the most pleasant of flavours. Okay.

3.5
rosenbergh (11532) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 3, 2015
Draught at the Crux, Bend, OR.
Clear golden colour with a small white head. Fruity and mild resiny hops, mild bitterness and sweet malt in the aroma. The flavour is resiny and fruity hops, moderate bitterness and sweet malt. A bit sourish aftertaste.

fiulijn (20491) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 5, 2015
Draught at Apex, Portland, nitro tap
Light amber color, clean, with the classic nitro head. It has some animal character (aroma and flavor), light hemp; there are also some other good hop characteristic, less malt presence, but it suffers because of lack of carbonation. The final is a bit papery.
Stop nitro!

probably their most boring beer, and that says a lot as it was still nice. Served on NO2, and it just isn’t a big enough beer for that. Came across a weak but tasty pale as opposed to cross of apa and ipa like they were going for.

3.5
BuckeyeBoy (7663) - Boise, Idaho, USA - OCT 11, 2014
On tap at Bend pub. Pours out a copper gold topped with a white head. Nose is floral hops cereal malts and some grass. Taste is a nice floral hop and a good smooth malty sweetness on the end.

Experiment_Ale (1098) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUL 11, 2014
On draft at Crux with Taylor on a fantastic Friday at sunset. Pours rinse clear with white head. Aroma is fresh dark floral hops, hint if spicy hops, still clean and fresh. Taste is a little thin; pretty clean with not much going on, amber earthy hops, hint of caramel, finish is sticky red hops.
