COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Many breweries procure their hops right here in the Northwest. But this beer features the Galaxy hop from Australia, a country famously populated by England’s cast out convicts. Cast Out IPA employs these hops aggressively from hop back to dry hopping stages. Yet the result is a balanced and bronzy ale, with medium hop bitterness complemented by moderate maltiness, showcasing aromas and flavors reminiscent of passion fruit.

@Darbys. Cloudy, bit of a dull sandy colour. Pours with a pretty thick head. Aroma is piney and earthy. Taste is about the same...piney, chewy and unfortunately some diacetyl lingering in the background. A bit of alcohol taste in the finish along with that resinous bitterness.

500 ml bottle. Pours a clear light amber with full head. Aromas of herbal dank hops, a bit of sulphur, and bready malts. Flavors of biscuity malts, light pithy citrus and tropical fruit with odd herbal, earthy, spicy notes.

Pours a clear golden orange on tap with fluffy white head that leaves moderate lace. Aroma of big new school hop notes, resinous earthy zest, with a hint of bready malt. Taste follows, really nice IPA with mild bitterness. I’m a fan, outcast or cast out.

Rating #2501 - 2017.07.26 - Crux Tap Takeover @revolutionyeg - 8oz. Pour. Pours a crisp straw golden with a bubbly white head, little retention. Aroma is grass, wet dog, orange rind, and earth. Way more citrus on the palate than in aromatic, some decent tangerine notes, some pineapple, lemon peel with a healthy dose of bitterness. Lovely IPA.

Aroma is pine and pepper and baker’s yeast. Behind that is a light citrus reminiscent of orange rind and grapefruit. It pours a dark translucent amber with a huge frothy head that lasts. Taste is pepper and pine sap, lots of bitterness, with grapefruit orange.

500ml bottle pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a finger and a half of white head that leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is grapefruit, tropical fruits and hints of caramel and grains. Taste is a grapefruit and pine hop bitterness with a tropical fruity and caramel malty sweetness. Medium bodied with good carbonation that pleases the palate. Overall, a well crafted brew that is sure to please most hop lovers out there. Recommended.

500ml bottle. Yellow toned brew with light haze and a small but long ladting white soapy head of foam. Hops in the nose - fruity, pineapple, tropical. Taste is citrusy, tropical fruits and pineappke with good bitterness. Big drinkabilty, body is lighter, nice carbonation and a good mouth feel. Some tropical bitterness left behind. Super.
