42nd Floor Tasting. Thanks to our host. Almost clear yellow - gold beer, residual white head. Palate is smooth, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Light malts, a little creamy sweetness. Hops bring touches of pine and hop spice, citric peel and a trace of lemon. A weird bitter note emerges before the lemony citric finish. Decent despite the brief skewed bitterness.
Bottle shared on the 42nd floor - thanks to Fergus. Pours clear gold with a dense, frothy white head. Great aroma, lots of vibrant citrus, melon, tangerine, papaya. Light to medium sweet flavor with some piney bitterness, minerals, pale and grainy bread, citrus rind. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish, with strong grassy bitterness, pale bread, more rindy citrus. Good stuff. fiulijn (20491) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 6, 2014

Blond color with creamy head. The aroma is a bit cheesy and yeasty, with some hops. Malt flavor, but with a tiring character; strong bitterness, the hops are mostly resiny, some bitter oranges but the fruitiness overall is low.
A bit messy, mostly the aroma should be tuned.
Bottle at the level 42 tasting V1.5 05/04/16, thanks to Fergus.
Golden orange with a decent off white covering.
Nose is lemon peel, pissy whisper, tangerine, melon, toasted bread, earthy hop.
Taste comprises caramel, light candy fruit, bitter orange peel, trace of pine, bitter citric rinds, touch of bread.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry close peppered with earthy hop bitterness.

On tap at Apex, pours a cloudy pale golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma of dry herbally, skunky hops, and some dry funky biscuity malts. Flavour brings out strong piney and herbal hops, a bit of pot and some funky biscuity malts. A dry, thirst-quenching and highly drinkable blonde IPA. Extremely well-made. jtclockwork (16581) - , New Jersey, USA - DEC 11, 2014
Bottle. Weekly tasting. Pours gold white head. Nose/taste of lemon, pine, citrus, cracker malt. Medium body. brokensail (16444) - Dublin, California, USA - SEP 5, 2014
On tap @ Brouwer’s. Golden-orange pour with white foam. Kind of catty and some green melon on the nose. A bit toasty. A lot of apple as well...meh. Some bread, lemon, pine, and herbs. All over the place on this one. Flavor is a bit more "bitter caramel water" than I’d like. That said, it does have some nice citric qualities and a decent fruit character. Lightly herbal and woody on the finish. Fairly bitter. Not great, but okay, I guess. Ferris (15259) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 5, 2015
Bottle - Lots of sweet tropical fruit and syrupy caramel. Clear gold with a very rich white head. Nice fruity notes and some orange and tropical hops. Pretty solid. bhensonb (15188) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 1, 2015
Bottle from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours translucent gold with a creamy/foamy white head. Aroma is rather tropical fruit with hints of slightly roasty malt and something suggesting creme brulee. Near full bodied. Flavor is suggestive of mango and pineapple, and citrus, with a lot of hop florality and some decent caramel support. Rather laid back in intensity of flavors, but not so with respect to bitterness. A nice finish with floral hop bitter that tingles!
