COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Many breweries procure their hops right here in the Northwest. But this beer features the Galaxy hop from Australia, a country famously populated by England’s cast out convicts. Cast Out IPA employs these hops aggressively from hop back to dry hopping stages. Yet the result is a balanced and bronzy ale, with medium hop bitterness complemented by moderate maltiness, showcasing aromas and flavors reminiscent of passion fruit.

500ml bottle. Yellow toned brew with light haze and a small but long ladting white soapy head of foam. Hops in the nose - fruity, pineapple, tropical. Taste is citrusy, tropical fruits and pineappke with good bitterness. Big drinkabilty, body is lighter, nice carbonation and a good mouth feel. Some tropical bitterness left behind. Super.

Dark orange, super-bitter, dry-hopped ale. Like an ESB, with malt and pine and sticky toffee. Light amount of fruit on the hops.

Draft at Churchkey. Poured a clear yellow orange color with a small white head. Aroma was nice juicy tropical fruit notes, with a nice lightly sweet citrus note to it.

Light citrus. Some lime. Pretty good balance like trampoline backflips. Light bitter finish. Tap at Churchkey.

ajnepple (6484) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 30, 2017
On tap at Hops & Pie. Hazy yellow to golden appearance with a fluffy white head and light lacing. Pleasant aroma of zesty hops and citrus/tropical fruit. Similar flavor, adding mild to moderate hop bitterness and a light malt sweetness. Medium body with a slight resinous hop finish. Clean and easy to drink, a nice IPA overall.

Aroma’s fresh hops, grapefruit, malt, minerals. Flavor’s like nose, very well balanced. Excellent body and finish. Super easy drinking.

piscator34 (2515) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 11, 2017
Draft at the brewpub. Gold in colour with moderate carbonation. Aromas are of pale malt, iron, dried cypress, and black pepper. Quite grassy on the palate along with elements of hay, minerals, and burnt grapefruit peel. A bit disjoint for me.

Panzuriel (2199) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - MAY 8, 2017
Appearance: Honey amber lightly hazy. Finger of white foam. Nose: Floral, herbal and a touch pine hops. Touch of sweetness. Taste: Dry with elegant herbal and floral hops. Lighter roasted malt. Body: medium to lighter and lively Parting thoughts: A crisp and refreshing IPA. Not my typical favorite style, but still very good.

malrubius (2864) - Springfield, Vermont, USA - MAY 7, 2017
Can from CBC Belmont. Gold clear with fluffy dense head and lace. Pine tropical fruit mango aroma. Mild tropical fruit apricot sweetness with grassy malts with a hint of cereal graininess. Medium bitter spicy peppery with some residual cereal and syrupy sweetness. Medium light body assertive carbonation to accentuate hops give a bite. Nice enough.

joet (2604) - Wilsonville, Oregon, USA - APR 2, 2017
Soft full aroma, pine, citrus, slightly catty, herbal, hefty caramel backbone, deep golden in color, only lightly bitter. Very good.
