luttonm (6158) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 20, 2017
Can in Seattle. Perfect can to have at a BBQ on one of the nicest days of the year. Pretty classic pils, rich clean flavor. This is fairly rich and well put together. Fantastic hop bite and flavor.

Very nice traditional-style pils though perhaps just a touch sweet. Hops are spicy and a little floral.

piscator34 (2515) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 10, 2017
Draft at the brewpub. Straw yellow in colour with moderate carbonation. Aromas are of white bread dough, aloe, and mild herbal hop. Flavors are of fat pilsner malt, faint lemon, grass, and soap. Smooth on the palate, to the point of being a touch watery. A bit too low in bitterness (and perhaps carbonation) for me.

Type: 12-oz. can Glass: Clear 15.25-oz. pilsner From: Bier:Thirty Bottle & Bistro in Boise, Idaho Price: $2.99 Purchased: April 21, 2017 Consumed: April 24, 2017 Reviewed as: German Pilsner Misc.: Canned on March 20, 2017 Picked this up with four others at Bier:Thirty on a recent work trip to Boise after getting a random 6-pack of cans earlier at Whole Foods. Had heard good things about Crux and Im a sucker for a good pilsner so it was really a no-brainer picking it up. Had high hopes going in. Poured a very light cloudy color with 3-to-4 fingers of rocky white head. Tons of bubble streams coming up from the bottom of the glass. Excellent foamy lacing. World-class foamy retention. (Sight - 4.25) Smelled sharp pilsner notes from the get go with spicy Czech Saaz, grass, hay, corn, cracker, biscuit and light lemon zest leading the way. (Smell - 4.00) First thought on the taste was how smooth it was. More lager than pilsner, but then got those Czech Saaz spicy hops. Also grass, hay, cracker, biscuit, herbal, sharp lemon pepper and hints of corn cereal. (Taste - 4.00) Light body. Thin texture. Lively carbonation. Abrupt, clean, crisp finish. (Feel - 4.25) Just a really good pilsner. Could get after a few of these on a hot summer day. (Overall - 4.00) 4.04 90 A-

The aroma is like grass and yeast. Creamy yellow body topped with a crisp white head. Mild malty grain taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
