Rich inky black hue with a thin light tan head. Rich robust aroma thats amazing; full of toasted coconut and hazelnut and cocoa and a kiss of bourbon. Huge hazelnut and toasted coconut and oak and bourbon on the flavor with a mellow earthy cocoa sweetness and a boozy warm finish with a kiss of coconut and Nutella at the end. Delightful.

A very nice barrel-aged stout. Pours a deep black with a tan head. Smells of coffee, chocolate and vanilla. Taste is very thick and sweet, with chocolate and vanilla to start, followed by strawberries and bitter-sweet candy, and a slightly tart finish. Had on tap at West Coast Drinkery.

375 ml bottle shared with Tmoney99 and Chris R. Pours a dark cola brown color with a small khaki colored head. The aroma and flavor have roasted malts, molasses, dark fruits, cherry, bigger vanilla character, oak, mild bourbon, spices, softer finish, I liked this more as it warmed.

Smells like cherries with a hint of bourbon. Initial taste to hit you is smooth chocolate, followed by a fruitiness (cherries) and finishing with the warmth from the bourbon. Really, really nice beer! (K)

375 ml bottle. Pours black with moderate to full head. Aromas of chalky dark fruit, chocolate with raisins, and dried oak. Flavors follow same with additional dry dark chocolate and powdery roasted malts. Noticeable ABV. For the cellar...

Bottled Oct 2015. Black color with a thin head. Boozy and rummy aroma. Big molasses, rum, and booze flavor. Very smooth and lush mouthfeel. Moderate roasted barley, but nowhere near ashy. Strong malt. Leaning towards sweet finish.

Bottle. Black pour, with a tan head. Milk chocolate, oak, vanilla, licorice, light smoke, dark fruit/cherry, moderate bourbon, and some booze. Nice.

chinchill (4515) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 10, 2016
2015 vintage on tap at the brewery Tasting Room in Bend. Look:opaque, essentially black body with a decent tan head. Sweet, boozy malt-based aroma with notes of vanilla, prunes and faint spices. Flavor: rich, moderately complex mix of the elements from the aroma plus some wood notes. A bit too sweet although theres a substantial bitter kick in the finish. Feel: slick,medium-full body.

Nice roasty imperial stout aroma. Black in color with a tan head. Malty, with a bite (rye?) with some smokiness and bourbon booze edges. Notes: On at the Denver Rare Beer Tasting 15
