Bottle shared with McTapps. Just an ugly beer. Tastes a bit dull like you would bite in an old sock. After the tenth it maybe gets drinkable but this one was enough for me. Old and stinky sock all the way.

McTapps (6984) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - DEC 7, 2012
Bottle from local bottle shop and shared with MichaelBruch. Deep golden, apple juice-like, colour with low head. Taste of bitter roasted brown sugar, strong hops and old leaves. Good for a country point but no beer for buying again.

Another beer found in Mexico. Though Cuban, this one isn’t all that different from it darker Mexican cousins. Somewhere in between Indio and Noche Buena. Ok for what it is, but nothing worth looking for.

Can, thanks for the share, pours a nice golden yellow, aroma is corny. the flavour is nice a smooth, good pale lager

Bottle (Cubanero Fuerte), from Rhythm & Booze, Barton-upon-Humber. Gold, thin shortlived white head and moderate condition. Delicate fruity malt in the nose with a hint of apple and a strange meaty note, again fruity in the mouth with some traces of esters and a sweet caramel note, lingeringesters and faint dry bitterness in the finish.

Grima (2511) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - NOV 10, 2012
The beer is pale yellow in the glass with soapy, flat head. It smells hoppy, bitter, slightly grainy and metallic. Starts with metallic hops, paired with sweet malty flavors, grain and some corn. The middle part is slightly hoppy-musty and metallic, in the background slight grainy. Goes into a sweet and hoppy finish with some grain, corn and floral hops!

v bubbly golden blonde fluffy white head goes to lacing, touch ofcardboard and musty grain (think whisky mash tun). Medium carbonation, sweet, quite 1-dimensional, minimal finish.

Aroma is a little musty and taste is immediately tangy/biting. No head to speak of, but ample carbonation. Mouthfeel is right but aftertaste is slightly spicy. Something seems a bit off here...

peral2 (578) - SWEDEN - OCT 13, 2012
Nothing special at all. Just another mainstream beer that I cant separate from each other.

maekchu (4098) - Hirakata, JAPAN - OCT 11, 2012
Bottle. Grass with some sort of chemical aroma. Clear pale straw, with gentle carbonation and some lace. Sweetish and cardboardy initial; mid palate fades fast; final has a jump of carbonation and very mild sweetness. Thin-medium body. Not really so "fuerte" in any way. This bottle is about one year past its "drink by" date, but I don’t imagine it was any better fresh.
