A yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of corn, and so is the flavor, though in the flavor there are also traces of hops. anders37 (26641) - Malmö, SWEDEN - JUL 8, 2005

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized head. Vegetably malty aroma, with weak malty hints. Vegetably malts and hops in flavour. Standard lager, but wellbalanced. Aftertaste is maltish and hoppy and lasts for quite a while. 3 2 4 2 6

UPDATED: DEC 27, 2004 Bottled. Deep golden, no head. Sweet and papery. Medium bodied with clean mouthfeel. Low bitterness. A decent tropical lager without outstanding features. Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 22, 2005
UPDATED: JUN 13, 2005 (Bottle 35 cl) Nice pilsener golden with a fairly decent and very white head. If I read the back label correctly one could get the notion that there’s more corn than barley in this. But I don’t get the chicken-fodderish feeling here as most often with beers of high corn-content. Actually a very straight and hoppy lager. Comes in a stylish longneck bottle. 290305 madmitch76 (24807) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JAN 19, 2017

Farewell Bespin Bottleshare. Clear pale amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Thin dry palate. Papery thin dry malts. Trace of over ripe citrus. Dry papery malt finish. Pretty rough and although the warming of relations with the USA might spoil some of thd unique Cuban charm, lets hope the good people of Cuba will get access to better beers than this dross.
Bottle courtesy of yespr - thank you sir! Clear yellow color, coca-cola style head that disappears in seconds. Aroma of celery and white pepper. Taste is watery malt with few hops, low carbonation, almost flat. Not the worst developing world lager. I feel very subversive drinking it - I hope it doesn,t affect my security clearance! cgarvieuk (24493) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 11, 2007
Bottle at home as Cubanero ... An innofensive standard lager, ive had worse and definitly better lagers. maybe a touch fruiter than most.
