@Pilsner Petes East Coast Gathering-750ml bottle–pours a disappearing light tan head and amber color. Aroma is light brown sugar, dark fruit-raisin, sweet. Tastis resin hops bite, light brown sugar, dark fruit-raisin, sweet. Nice once I got past the surprise that the taste was much different than the nose. Thanks eyedrinkale for sharing. hombrepalo (1971) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 8, 2009
Bottle thanks to Odeed. As A Mexican I had to have the best Mexican beer out there. Poured a nice copper color with some thin off-white head. The aroma was full of caramel, dark fruits, alcohol, and a bit of hops. The taste was pretty sweet up front, thick and silky with the dark fruits and some toffee prevailing at first, followed by alcohol, and finishing with subtle hops. The mouthfeel was rather smooth. Nice finish, this was a true treat. LilBeerDoctor (4134) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 4, 2009
Bottle at PPRBSG09. Pours a clear brown with a very small head. Aroma of vegetal notes, prunes, and raisins. Flavor is equally vegetal and gross and rather boozy (although apparently I am the only one to dislike this beer so much...oh well).

Bottle at PilsnerPeter’s Spring Gathering. I think I was told "this is the best beer from Mexico"... and I’d have to agree. It was rather tasty. Phenomenal? No, but solid. Pours a clear still brown with no head. Light isopropyl notes on the nose, but nothing huge. Light caramel follows it up. Medium bodied with nice plum and more caramel and dark fruit. Finishes with a light bitterness. Surprisingly tasty. Rciesla (5499) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - MAY 31, 2009
PPRBSG09. Bottle, pours a caramel brune body with a thin white head. Grain, cherry husk, salt, malty caramel and some dark fruit raisins and plum. Nice for what it is. thewombat (112) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - MAY 31, 2009

Pours with an amber hue with no head.
Aroma is of dark fruits. Flavor has a somewhat dry beginning and then transitions into a very sweet ending.
Syrupy mouthfeel with lively carbonation. BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - MAY 21, 2009
Gold foil 750ml. Pours with a tan to caramel colored head over a slightly hazed amber-red body. Aroma of citrus hops, prunes, chocolate, alcohol and sherry. Taste is alcohol, hops, molasses, bitterness, sherry, caramel, cardboard, and slightly smokey with a leather like character. Syrupy mouthfeel and quite warming...
