Bottle at PilsnerPeter’s Spring Gathering. I think I was told "this is the best beer from Mexico"... and I’d have to agree. It was rather tasty. Phenomenal? No, but solid. Pours a clear still brown with no head. Light isopropyl notes on the nose, but nothing huge. Light caramel follows it up. Medium bodied with nice plum and more caramel and dark fruit. Finishes with a light bitterness. Surprisingly tasty.

hopdog (13102) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 16, 2009
750ml bottle shared thanks to Josh. Poured a deeper amber color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of nuts, earthy, and some dart fruits. Tastes of earthiness, dark fruits, nutty, and caramel.

@Pilsner Petes East Coast Gathering-750ml bottle–pours a disappearing light tan head and amber color. Aroma is light brown sugar, dark fruit-raisin, sweet. Tastis resin hops bite, light brown sugar, dark fruit-raisin, sweet. Nice once I got past the surprise that the taste was much different than the nose. Thanks eyedrinkale for sharing.

hopscotch (11313) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - APR 9, 2009
Bottle... Clear copper ale with a small, creamy, off-white head. The aroma is chock full of toffee with more subtle, accompanying notes of roasted cashews, ethanol and chocolate. Full-bodied and a touch creamy with moderate carbonation. The flavor lays forth minerally, earthy bitterness, crystal malt, medium sherry and a good dose of ethanol heat. Lengthy, bitter, very warming finish. Thanks go out to bu11zeye for shipping this bottle my way!
