Draft. Opaque honey brown. Large tan head. Mild aroma. Grainy, light orange, and caramel. Lacks definition. Taste leads with bubblegum. Unexpected. Heavy malt presence. Hint of citrus on finish.

Serving: Bottle. Hazy amber pour with a medium off white head. Caramel and dull herbal hops in the nose. Highest rated beer in Mexico? Tastes more like a bitter by Green King to me. Flabby on the tongue with a medium finish. Meh.

355 ml bottle. Pours hazy golden with medium head. Aroma is hops and vanilla? Taste is a bit unexpected, nice hoppy bitterness and malts.

Cerveza de rico aroma citrico y caramelo, color cobre palido, amarga con toques resinosos de lupulo. Espuma no muy persistente

Percy0103 (756) - MEXICO - AUG 20, 2014
Bottle, 355ml. An amber beer with a medium size foamy head, a lot of gas and some lacing. Aroma is of spices, especially vanilla, and some herbs. Taste is bitter and a little bit stronger at the end. Aftertaste is very bitter, reminds me of mint and is somewhat metallic. There is some astringency and overall is a decent beer.

Excelente cerveza

A better than average pale ale. Not particulary hoppy, but with a nice caramel balance.

Rating #1037 - March 26, 2014 - Finally shook off a cold and can resume enjoying the life of a beer sales rep. Dark amber pour with a bubbly, lasting white foam. Aroma is sweet citrusy, tangerine notes, mild grassiness.Taste is a blast of citrusy sweetness, tempered by a non-threatening hoppy bitterness. Lots of nice nutty, caramel malt texture as well. Certainly bold in hop flavour, but fits the session profile of the APA quite well at 5.8% - a bite worthy of its namesake.
