2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
To me, this was like a cross between an amber ale and an ESB. I didn’t pick up the pale ale notes. Everyone’s different though.
Weak ale with a kind of metallic hop flavour (yes it’s possible, you’ll understand if you try this beer). Mildly soapish. Finish was ESB all the way. Decepción.
Nearly clear. Copper colour. Thin, white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, and hay. Taste is burnt sugar, caramel, and dried fruit. Fairly hoppy finish. AndySnow (8291) - Huddinge, SWEDEN - NOV 9, 2017

Decent balance between sweetness and bitterness. Still a bit over to the sweet side. Caramel malty, resin, dried fruits and some roast in the end. 355ml dark bottle, filtered, from Beers Of Europe. Stale hops, honey, mouldy leather. It's OK, but I assume the hops were intended to taste fresh, and haven't survived the journey from Mexico. The malt is a mish-mash of flavours. I mean, its drinkable, but its a fucking mess. It's got character I suppose, but not the sort of character that encourages repeat visits. Gawd.
