Draught at Fiebre de Malta, Mexico City. Hazy orange/amber, firm creamy head. Aroma of lime and grapefruit. Mid sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Plenty of lime, grapefruit and pine. Long bitter finish with resiny undertones. Nice!

MarcoBasile (330) - DENMARK - JUN 22, 2017
Sweet malty caramel notes to it. Not that much bitterness. It’s like a slightly hoppy brown ale. Decent.

Msdrbeat (777) - East Lansing, USA - MAY 30, 2017
Bottled. More malty than a typical pale ale. Hop is overwhelmed by grain and caramel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cunningham (7865) - Halden, NORWAY - APR 20, 2017
Clear deep glowing golden color with a BIG frothy off white head. Ok lacing. The head stays better than expected. Moderate intensity in the aroma, and not that hoppy. Medium body and an average carbonation level. Decent balance between sweetness and bitterness. Still a bit over to the sweet side. Caramel malty, resin, dried fruits and some roast in the end. Decent, but not very joppy.

This is one of the better Mexican beers I’ve had....although that doesn’t say much.

VDuquerroux (1652) - Airvault, Haut-Poitou, FRANCE - JAN 14, 2017
Bottle, 35.5cL. Home. A sparkling clear amber beer with a medium off-white head ; small retention. Red berries, caramel, roast, herbal note. Light to medium sweet, light dry refreshing, bitter note. Light to medium body, thin texture, soft carbonation, fruity bitter dry refreshing finish. Overall, fair one !

From a bottle. Not sure how well this was stored but it was far from great with some off flavours.

A fantastic ’Pale’ which I think of as a bit more of an amber--with a strong malt and hop presence that makes the beer a lot more filling and interesting than most comparables of the same ABV--SERIOUSLY bummed that I cannot find it on draft in San Diego anymore--such an underrated beer from across the border.

Yased (244) - MEXICO - NOV 14, 2016
