UFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF ,UF Y RECONTRA UF!. (Wow in English).Well ,maybe my rating might be partial considering that i live in the very town this beer is made, however, i really enjoyed this beer, altough i consider it not as good as Centenario or the Generic Barley Wine ,both from this same company, but still a great beer.Has a very malty palate ,sweet molases almost like Vienna style,no roasty palate like all the others BWs that i had, bubbly, super aromatic.Man it is a very pricey bottle $94 pesos a 500ml but still, Thumbs way up! dreamflower (791) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - FEB 9, 2013
Bottle shared with northropfrye. I love this because it’s sweet, maybe a bit of oak, beautiful cognac colour, a little heavy with the alcohol but it makes sense here. Very enjoyable. superspak (5781) - Michigan, USA - MAR 3, 2013
22 ounce bottle into snifter; no bottle dating, but I would guess this is at least a year old. Pours slightly cloudy ruby red color with a small fairly dense cream colored head with good retention, that reduces to a thin lace that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of big caramel, raisin, fig, date, molasses, apple, pear, toast, brown bread, toffee, herbal, floral, and herbal earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good complexity and balance of malt sweetness with some light hop notes and alcohol. Taste of big caramel, raisin, date, fig, apple, molasses, toast, toffee, brown bread, floral, and light herbal earthiness. Lingering notes of caramel, dark and light fruits, molasses, toast, toffee, floral, and light herbal earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice balance and complexity of big malty/dark fruit flavors; with zero cloying sweetness present after the finish. Light-medium carbonation and full bodied; with a creamy, slick, and lightly syrupy mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is an excellent barleywine! Very nice balance and complexity of malt and fruity flavors; and very smooth to sip on. Really enjoyed this one. emartell (352) - Zapopan, Jalisco, MEXICO - OCT 13, 2012
Aroma interesante.
Exquisita, fuerte, elegante y sabrosa. Alcohólica, turbia, sin embargo, exquisita! Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 14, 2011
Really.. 3rd rating total, and 1st outside of Mexico.. and I bought the bomber in Milwaukee? Anyways.. poured a lovely Grade A Medium Amber (if we were talking maple syrup), with an easily-resuscitated short khaki head.. crystal-clear, and I loved the color. The aroma was on the sweet side with honey and vanilla leading, and caramel, treacle, and some fruit behind.. light earthy hops and a hint of peppery alcohol accented.. quite nice. The flavor found similar sweetness at the core, again with honey and vanilla leading.. sticky sweetness on the edges held onto a little prickly alcohol, but other than that, the boozage was hard to find until the end.. a little green and hot on the finish.. warmed up the belly. Medium-bodied and sweet as mentioned on the palate.. sticky at times.. more skewed toward the sugars than I’d like, but it came together well. I’d drink this again.

22oz bottle in a shaker. Pours amber/ruby with a lacy, cream-colored head. Aroma of caramel and cereal malts, some light hops, a little bit of spice, and hints of alcohol. Flavor the same, with a lot of malts. Smooth texture. A pretty good beer. madmitch76 (25101) - , Essex, ENGLAND - JUL 1, 2012

Bottle shared at Craft. Clear amber beer, good pale tan head. Smooth palate with a little fine carbonation. Smooth sweet malts. Sweet toffee and cream. Trace of orange and dried fruits. A little aniseed in the finish. Pretty straight down the line barleywine but I quite liked the sweetness.
Reddish brown colour with soft white head. Vibrant aroma of fresh tomatoes, bread, dried fruit, malts, grapes, booze. Taste is sweet, grapes, bread and maybe a bit too boozy, but very flavourful. I enjoyed this barley wine. Under-rated. chrisv10 (17909) - DENMARK - MAR 23, 2013
Bottle @ Papsoe tasting. Hazy amber with tiny off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, yeast, dark fruits and a little plume. Flavour is malt, caramel, yeast, dark fruits, little plume, medium sweet, little raisins and hop.
