Draught at Fiebre de Malta, Mexico City. Clear deep golden, small head. Mild citrus and bread up front. Mid sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Bread, lychee and floral citrus in a laid back mix. Mid bitter finish. Tasty, laid back and thoroughly well made. jmagnus87 (2912) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - APR 6, 2013
From old notes. Bottle. Light grains and light honey. Nothing super special. Very drinkable though. patxa (207) - MEXICO - MAR 21, 2013
Bière sans caractère, plutôt médiocre. Pas de miel présente aux arômes, non plus dans le palais. Tres plate aussi. alexsdad06 (10431) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 24, 2012
12 oz. bottle from DrSilverworm. Pours a clear honey orange amber color with a medium sized fleeting white head. The aroma is sweet honey, caramel and bread. The flavor is bready, caramel with a hefty dose of sweet honey. There is a hint of dry bitterness at the finish. Nothing really bad about this, it is what it is. b3shine (8875) - Indiana, USA - NOV 15, 2012
Bottle to pint (thanks DrSilverworm). Looks decent; a transparent burnt-orange with white lacing. Smells of honey and mild hops with a sweet backbone. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Not bad.

Bottle from the Dr. -- many thanks! Pours a reddish pale color. Minimal head. Tastes and smells of green apples, splenda, LME, spent grain and honey, but it’s brief and tastes also quite medicinal. nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - AUG 20, 2012
The aroma has light caramel malt and grassy hops and the closest to zero honey that can still be detected. The appearance is light amber with a medium head. The taste is like the aroma with a bitter finish. The palate is smooth. Overall not a bad beer to drink but I am not sure I would have known it was a honey beer. A dark golden colour and only a flim of white head. This beer has a characteristic taste with quite a bit of hoppy bitterness and something more that one would assume comes from the honey, although I can’t say I pinpointed taste of honey. But there’s a balance of sweet and bitter, lending towards the sweet side, that makes this a very enjoyable beer. yisratomp (22) - Aguascalientes, MEXICO - JUL 2, 2012
Me gusta el color, muy espesa y carbonatada sabe a miel pero no me agrada tanto el sabor agrio que deja al final, una buena opción para aquellos que no han probado un ale en México. snownirvana (70) - - JUN 11, 2012
Tulip snifter from bottle. A: slight honey. App: golden honey, half a finger, bright white head. Long lasting lace. T: very plain on the front. Slight honey on the back. P: medium crisp bubbles, insanely crisp finish.
