A malty brown ale, brewed with ginger, nutmeg and vanilla. Aged on a bed of candied fruit intended for making fruitcake. The candied orange, lemon, cherry and apricot give a zing to the finish.
Draft to imperial pint at Cumberland. Looks solid; a mostly opaque brown with thin off-white lacing. Smells roasty and toasty. Tastes like it smells with a malty backbone and fruit notes. Average on the palate. Alright.
