500ml bottle at home on 11th Dec 2015: poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard. Very slight haze to the golden/blonde pour, the head a full blanket of white foam, plenty of carbonation bubbles rising through the beer. Hop dry from the start, refreshing and almost lip smacking in nature. Mild citrus feel to the bitterness, malts a long way from showing themselves, this is hop centric throughout. Classic blonde appearance, very pale colour with diminishing white head. Light straw and biscuit aroma. Taste is grainy, slightly floral and a little too sweet. Drinkable but a little insipid.
Enjoyed a lot more than the first time around with sweetish, biscuity malts and delicate floral hop interplaying nicely. at_the_hop (109) - Worcestershire, ENGLAND - APR 18, 2015
Bready malt. Hint of bitterness. Not much else here. Smells like mass market lager and not a great deal better when quaffed. Nothing wrong with it but nothing particularly good either. Bang average. Bottle only cost me a quid though so can’t really grumble. s_hartshorne (2784) - wakefield, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - APR 10, 2015

UPDATED: APR 19, 2015 Cask at the Furness Railway, Barrow-in-Furness. Light yellow to straw colour. Muted lemon-grapefruit and malt aroma, a bit floral. Nice. Refreshing taste as well. Sweet with a hint of Maltings in the backbone. Slight bitterness in the aftertaste and finish. Dry. I quite enjoyed this, it’s noticeably better than many of the identikit goldens floating about. christhoel (286) - chesterfield, Derbyshire, ENGLAND - OCT 28, 2014

500 ml bottle. Pours golden yellow with a thin white head. Taste is very crisp and refreshing beer with hop bitterness and sweet citrus standing out in the flavour, The mouth feel is medium with limited carbonation. Overall a fine example of a golden ale that is highly drinkable and well put together. beeebon (467) - Cornwall, ENGLAND - OCT 3, 2014
From bottle, pour is light yellow with foamy quite thick white head. On the nose there is a hint of honey sweetness mixed with grassy/vegetable notes. Taste is slightly sweet with hoppy bitterness coming through. Rather enjoyable drop of beer for what it is and a bargain at £1 per bottle! Yum!
