on draft at mellow mushroom...pours dark brown with the obvious nitro head that dissipates from the bottom up and yet doesnt disappear. the nutty malt aroma is quite good. the flavor is sweet malt and that same nuttiness...a definite solid porter.

Aroma of chocolate, light coffee roastiness and a touch of red grape. Appearance was dark amber with bone head. Flavor matched the nose, but with the roast level brought up a notch. Palate is soft and oily. Average.

On tap in an English pint. Pours black with a cream-colored head. Aroma of the chocolate and smokiness of the porter. Light texture like a Guinness, and the flavor is good but not overpowering. A pretty good beer, but porters arent really my style and its sort of light for me.
