I’m generally a wussy lager drinker, but this is a heck of an ale ... superior color and hoppy character. Seek out this excellent brew pub in Louisville. shrubber85 (11411) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - AUG 11, 2012
Draft. Toffee malt and orange peel hops aroma. Amber with small head. Sweet orange toffee malt and moderately bitter orange peel flavor. Great blending. A spectacular APA. bartlebier (3982) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - OCT 11, 2012
Growler fill from the brewery. Sep 2012. - Great all-round all well-rounded APA, smooth, with enough backbone to make this more than a session beer and a wise even blend of aroma hops selected for overall drinkability, not statistuic hoppiness. Shared a growler with 3, gone in 1 sitting. clong83 (285) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 28, 2008
Wow. Nose of sweet malts. ALso sweet flavor ad almost fruity. But also lots of good hop flavor. Dry mouthfeel with that good woodish/piney, resiny texture to it. Spicy like an excellent red ale. This surpassed my expectations. Very good. Libeerian (209) - Garner, North Carolina, USA - JAN 25, 2004
Just a tad light on the aroma. Amber color, medium-light body. Nice hop bitterness and flavor that doesn't totally obscure the malts. Delicious!

a great amber color. the aroma is nutty, while the flavor is dominated by hops. a balanced pale ale that is never too hoppy, enjoyable. on tap @ cumberland brews AndyW68 (1542) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - MAR 12, 2014
Good shit. Clear amber pour with thick whick head and lots of lacing. Aroma is floral and hops. Taste is floral and hops. Had a lot of beer today. This is stl pretty good. ultraspank (867) - Alverca, Lisboa, PORTUGAL - JUL 22, 2007
Thanks to Bob, Michelle, and mostly my baby Jana for the 12th annual Indiana Microbrewers Festival today! On tap @ the fest. Nose of caramel, resin, and flowers. The brew is a copper amber. The nice cascade resolves into a mostly diminishing creamy off-white head that leaves light lace. The beer has a strong spice & citrus presence with noticable acidity and a long bitter finish. The medium body is lively & dry. esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 25, 2008
On tap at Cumberland brew pub. Hazy amber with thin white head. Aroma of pine and citrus hops. Taste is semi-sweet with a grapefruit hop finish. Not too bitter, just the right amount on the finish. Solid effort.
