On tap at the brewery. Pours hazy copper with a cream-colored head. Aroma of pumpkin, spice, caramel and pale malts, and light hops. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not a bad pumpkin beer.

on tap @ Cumberland / Louisville KY --- Cloudy medium amber color, off-white head cover, bands of lace. I notice the review below mine describes a typical Pumpkin Ale. My sample differed: the taste is malt and pumpkin without the spices. That makes for a distinctively bitter taste. No change as it moves through the swallow to a finish that needs no correcting, except maybe a little sweet to get things back to normal. Not satisfying.

On tap at Cumberland Brews. Pours an amberish orange with a small off white head. Pumpkin, nutmeg, ginger, cinnamon, clove, brown sugar, vanilla, caramel malt, graham cracker, wheat, with a bit of citrus hops backing it. Light-medium bodied, creamy and smooth texture, average carbonation. Doesn’t club you over the head with the pumpkin or the spices, but gives you more than enough to enjoy. Malt backbone balances it out very well. Nicely done!

Pretty good. Nice flavor of pumpkin but it lingers a bit long. Aroma could be better. Enjoyable

UPDATED: OCT 23, 2013 draft poured a hazy orange color with white head. the aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg...also got hints of clove. over all the aroma was strong but good. the flavor was mostly the spices with pumpkin undertones. just a bit more nutmeg than I would like and less pumpkin as well...but it was pretty tasty. otherwise decent malt backbone on this. one of the few beers I have had from there.

Aroma: Pleasant pumpkin, nutmeg and slight cinnamon. Appearance: Transparent copper with a thin white head. Flavor: Matches the nose up front, but finishes like a Pale Ale- a little bit of citrus leads to a dry, crackery finish. Palate: Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, long finish. Overall: Well done, and quite interesting.

Sample at Cumberland on 9/14/13. Clear orange pour with a medium beige head. Aroma of cinnamon, brown sugar, ginger, nutmeg and light clove. Malty flavor with cinnamon and ginger character before a semi-sweet brown sugar finish.

Draft at the brewpub. Poured a slightly hazy light orange color. Head was thin and white. Aroma was of pumpkin, nutmeg, and subdued cinnamon. Flavor was similar with the addition of a buttery note. Dry on the tongue with delicate bitterness.
