Brewed in England with precision and passion to create a uniquely satisfying, drier, cleaner, fresher, lager beer. We use East Anglian malt, Saaz and Cascade hops, then re-ferment using Champagne yeast before adding a "dosage" of the rare and fragrant Nelson Sauvin hop, before cold filtering this unpasturised beer into bottle.

Chapel Down have tried to do something interesting with this. The end result is fine, I like it, good session lager. Though unfortunately, not at all interesting. (Bottled, no1 lounge at Birmingham airport)

martpez (263) - Norwich, Norfolk, ENGLAND - AUG 14, 2017
Lovely caramel malts coming through. Its fizzy and alive yet smooth and spicy. Not much going at the hop end but thats fine. I think this is really rather good for a brit lager. Impressed.

Bottled at TEJA tasting. Hazy golden, small head. Fruity citrus aroma. Mid sweet with light body and clean mouthfeel. Jam and overripe fruit. Mid bitter finish.

Grumbo (3452) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2017
Bottle, in a pub in London near to Charing Cross station. Poured yellow/gold with an average sized white head. Aroma is sweet corn, grain, and grass. Quite sweet, light bitterness. Light to medium body, oily texture. Carbonation average to soft. Not keen.

phfyysik (1364) - Tartu, ESTONIA - JAN 28, 2017

BeerNinjaUK (478) - Wiltshire, ENGLAND - OCT 7, 2016
Bottle from Waitrose. Pours somewhat acid yellow with almost non-existent head. Very odd aroma, somewhat chemical (nail varnish remover??) and vegetables. Very insipid. Didn’t really enjoy this.

deanso (10178) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - SEP 11, 2016
33cl bottle at Wetherspoons Doncaster Airport. Medium creamy white head. Clear golden pour. Slight bitterness. Ok.

DanielBrown (4527) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - AUG 10, 2016
Bottle from Uncle Phil for 40th birthday (eeek). Quite good lager really. Super clean and thin. Sweet, ethereal lightness on tongue. There were sips that brought to mind layering one’s tongue in plastic cement. Airfix Dinosaur. Totnes. 1985.
