This balanced but powerfully hoppy India Pale Ale is brewed using the finest pale ale malt and three complimentary hops. We use Goldings - the traditional, fresh, sweet, delicate king of English hops. Then we add Bramling Cross, a spicy blackcurranty beauty and finish with a touch of extremely clean fresh Citra hop, for quenching zestines. We think that in balancing these 3 exciting hops we have created a beer of great power yet drinkable harmony.

UPDATED: SEP 22, 2016 Took a few sips but this beer is interesting, candied orange, good texture, some odd flavours

33cl bottle. Clear orange colour with a thin head. Aroma of pale malts, hops, citrus fruit, berry fruit, some floral notes. Somewhat muted compared to most IPAs. Taste is also quite malty for an IPA, sweet caramel, fruity citrus hops, berries. Soft carbonation, oily texture, nice bitter finish. Nice, but an atypical IPA.

Drank this at Weatherspoons and it was somewhat unremarkable for an IPA. It does grow on you somewhat but tastes a tip too industrial for my taste buds.

Bottle, 33cl. Pours reddish amber under a mostly diminishing white head. Floral aromas, some citrus, some toasted barley and wood too. Very nice round flavours, noticeably well-balanced, fruity and with a lingering smooth caramel/leather, some sweetness to compensate for the bitterness. Medium to full body, dry oily texture and nice long finish. Not a typical IPA, but the beer itself is good.

Bottled. A deep reddish amber colour. Clear, with a small off-white head. Sweet aromas, like a traditional English bitter but with red fruit notes too. Flavours are of an English-style IPA: good body at the start, malty, some sweet red/dark fruits, then a very dry, hoppy, bitter (and slightly thin) finish.

330ml from Brum Selfridges. Meek stone fruit, chip shop batter, aniseed nose. Old school IPA dullness bereft of contemporary hop references. Weak honeyed peach, autumnal apple and slate smeared with caramel flavours. Bronze capped finely with lacing off white. An anachronism. What a crushing disappointment.

Bottle. Bronze with a small head. Despite being labelled as triple hopped there is an amazing lack of hops. In fact there isnt a lot of flavour full stop. A big let down.
