COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Available in Keg & 330ml bottles.
This balanced but powerfully hoppy India Pale Ale is brewed using the finest pale ale malt and three complimentary hops. We use Goldings - the traditional, fresh, sweet, delicate king of English hops. Then we add Bramling Cross, a spicy blackcurranty beauty and finish with a touch of extremely clean fresh Citra hop, for quenching zestines. We think that in balancing these 3 exciting hops we have created a beer of great power yet drinkable harmony.

Bright clear amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is light, airy and a little crisp. Smooth and semi dry malt - sweetish and slightly lagerish. Whispers of spice and lactose. Hops are somewhat in the background but there is a little mellow tropical fruits. Finishes dry with a light spice. Not really an IPA but not a bad beer.

Bottle at home in London. Pours clear gold with a moderate, off-white head. Aroma holds some dry orange and grass, light leaves, very lightly toasted malts. Light to medium sweet flavor with mild bitterness of dry citrus, sun-kissed grass and leaves, a few berries, subtle dry caramel. Light bodied with average carbonation. Faintly dry and sticky finish with some lightly toasted malts, very mellow fruit sugars, faint grass and pine. It’s a pretty relaxed IPA overall, but it isn’t bad. Decent use of British hops in here.

Bottle at The Speaker. Hazy amber colour lasting cream head. Some toffee some dusty hop more an English style ipa more an English premium bitter. Some interesting features but not great for me.

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a small, dense, off-white head of moderate size. Some lacings. The aroma is weak, with a light fruityness. Not much malts to be detected. The flavor has some bitterness, a faint touch of toffee, and a biscuity maltyness. Medium body, quite dry, with a decent carbonation level. Bitter finish. Pretty boring this one, not much IPA-ish. 140110

330ml bottle (Godfrey’s, Harpenden)
Mushroomy nettley aroma, some sweet caramel. Deep orange, brief head. Taste is caramelly, a bit mushroomy. Palate thin and a bit fizzy, some sweet stickiness. Vaguely tollerable, but only because the previous one was crap.

MiP (15650) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - OCT 4, 2014
Bottle, 5.6%. Mild farty aroma, perhaps malty. Small frothy white head. The flavour is malty with a caramelly and papery hop note. Citric finish with a good, slightly rough bitterness.
