Driven by wanderlust and a desire for discovery, the Curious Traveler set out to explore the globe. Always fearlessly inquisitive, he relished opportunities to befriend other travelers and to experience cultures he had only previously imagined. He sampled their wares, their foods and most importantly their libations. Some were good. Some not so good. Others were downright dangerous. Many years into his travels, his pace slowed on a particularly sweltering day. He sought refuge in a small pub to escape the oppressive heat. Before he could even finish wiping his brow, the bartender handed him a glistening glass of ale. The Traveler took a liking to the invigorating lemon shandy concoction. Quite a refresher! he said gratefully. The Traveler has never stopped exploring in fact, hes on the road this very day. Somewhere. Only one thing has changed: he now makes sure he orders a shandy everywhere he goes.

Serving: Bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a murky yellow with a small, frothy white head. Lemon oil covering up old, wet paper aroma. Country Time lemonade mix, pencil shavings, and cardboard flavors. Leaves a nasty film in your mouth. One of the worst beverages Ive had in awhile.

Bottle: Hazy yellow straw with a brief white head. Nose is musty lemon, taste is stale lemon peel and unpleasantly musty. Really did not care for this in any aspect whatsoever.

Aroma is spices, lemon/lime and fruit. The flavor is lemon/lime, funky tropical fruit, mild sweetness and tangy/tart finish.

A shandy. Nothing special but decent. I hoped for more than leinies' shandy but basically the same. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at the Rookery. Pours a hazy gold with cream colored head. Aroma of apples and lemons. Taste is like a lemon iced tea.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy with a frothy top white colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a no visible carbonation hazy weak yellow orange colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was cardboard and licorice. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start with a mediumly tingly finish with a lingering fruity aftertaste. The horrible flavor contained notes of cardboard licorice and fruity. Not one that I would likely drink again.

Wow so this is some serious hipster bullshit huh? old fashioned glasses and art, handlebar mustache, the whole thing except for somebody riding a pennyfarthing. Lemony nose and flavor, and somewhat briny which is odd but somehow quite welcome. Wheatish flavors at the finish along with a lingering faint country-time style fake lemonade aftertaste. I would say its complete crap but for that briny mineral type component which adds both a complexity and a counterpoint to the "lemony wheat beer" base. Quite hazy pale yellow, not much head.
