Bottle. Corn, barley malt, and straw aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Mildly sweet corn/barley malt and mildly bitter straw flavor. Decent body.

Dark golden lager with small white head gone quickly. Aroma sweet corn. Light bodied, taste sweet corn, watery, grass. Carbonation is OK. Overall typical pale lager with some corn notes.

Imbibed from the bottle at Mar y Tierra Peruvian restaurant in Miami. If you’ve had Cristal, you’ve had Cusqueño. Same corn sweetness and softer carbonation as Cristal.

Bottle: (as Golden Lager, but bar code matches this one) Clear, deep gold with a small, off-white head. Sweet corn, barley aroma. Sweet and mild....grain and corn malts. Actually, quite good.....nothing off, no skunk, no harshness. Points also for the very cool molded stone pattern in the bottle’s glass. Enjoyable.

330 ml bottle. Bought in a Jumbo supermarket in Santiago. Clear golden colow, low white head. Yeasty smell, not the tipical lager. Refreshing taste, I’ve tried it with peruvian spicy food at it goes perfect. A really good lager! Whenever i have to get cheap beer, this is a great choice.

Bottle with lunch at a food place. Nose is lightly floral with a little pils malt. Crystal clear pale gold. Taste us nondescript bland but most importantly it isn’t flawed, bad, or too sweet. Decent enough.

Svesse (8006) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - MAY 12, 2016
(Bottle, Giraffe, London Heathrow Terminal 5, 24 April 2016) Golden colour with dense, white head. Malty nose with bread, grain and hay. Malty, slightly sweetish taste with notes of bread, grain, hay and a low bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. No evident faults, but generic and quite boring. Drinkable but unnecessary.

ClarkVV (6090) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 9, 2016
Bottle at Caracas, 4/16/16.
Pale golden, very light, filtered, force carbed, etc....small white head.
Smells nowhere near as offensive as some of the bigger offenders (bud lite, coors, icehouse, things like that). Cereal notes, wax, seltzer, light bready notes.
Very spritzy, bready, with stale cereal notes, saltwater, wax and a light bitterness on the finish that helps ameliorate some of the macro qualities. Not great, but passable if you’re low on options in Peru, I’m sure.
