COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
So rabid are we about roundball that in 1925 Mr. Naismith himself declared Indiana the center of the sport. Needing only five starters, the game was tailor made for the towns that dot Indiana and just one or two great players could take any school to the state finals – and immortality.

Half Court is out celebration of basketball fever and the sweat it takes for success. A noble example of an India Pale Ale, this beer pours with a thick white head and hits you directly with the scent of hops and citrus. Be forewarned, we’re just as hysterical about hops as we are hoops.

Bottle share from JTclockwork. Golden amber pour, very citrus forward aroma, with some light hop presence. Taste, light hops, mild bitterness, a bit off

Bottle - Orange and a bit of acetone. Cloudy orange with a decent white head. Sweet and cardboard with a light dry bitter finish. May be an old bottle.

[Bottle] Pours a dark shade of gold with a nice ring of foam on top. Aroma is sweet and very wort-like. Taste is also reminiscent of wort, with unfermented sugars, caramel and bready malts coming out prominently. The hops are herbal and included hints of grass and spearmint. Overall bitterness level is low. Interesting. It took me the whole 12 ounces to tell whether I liked it or not. Not bad, but probably not something I would buy again.

Bottle. Pours a very slightly hazy orange with a thin head and pleasant aromas. Citrus and pine with a touch of mango. Things are looking good and then I take a sip. I’m hit by a brash bitterness that lacks any sort of flavor and a grainy and dusty malt presence that is not that great. Darn the nose had me expecting goodness.

Courtesy of Strykzone. Poured copper with off-white head. Nose of citrus hops. Medium body. Flavor is caramel malts and citrus hops. Bitter finish. Classic IPA and that is good.

Draught at Slipper Noodle. Malty slightly hoppy IPA without too much going on. Pretty basic.

Aroma is citrus, earthy and slightly muddled together spices and sweetness. The flavor is citrus, earth/dirty, malts and a bitter/dryish finish.

tap at Ft Wayne Oktobeerfest 2013 - Pours hazy copper with a lingering off-white head. It features good, crisp bitterness and a little citrus character. It’s an average IPA, so to me that makes it good.

Aroma: Not too strong. More malts than anything. Appearance: Very dark orange. Taste: Begins with a hint of sweetness, finishes very earthy and piney but without many hops. Earthy flavors overpowering.
