UPDATED: SEP 8, 2011 Right when opening the bottle you instantly smell the amazing aroma. It pours with about a 1 finger head and a nice golden color. The taste is amazing. The bitterness is so balanced into the beer it gives it an amazing flavor. The bitterness isn’t a dominant as usual in an IPA, but certainly plenty of flavor. Definitely one of my top 5 favorite beers. jiggitytiggity (1) - Indiana, USA - AUG 31, 2011 does not count
These days, everyone is making insanely hoppy IPA’s. And I do love them so. BUT it’s refreshing to taste an IPA that fulfills the hop addiction and offers something different. This beer does just that. The body manages to be creamy while still offering a substantial hop kick right up front. That’s not something you see every day. It’s crisp and clean but still has that rich IPA flavor. At around 6.5, it’s not the heaviest out there but it does have a good punch. If you’ve enjoyed Mad Hatter, Sun King Osiris or similar lighter bodied hoppy brews you will like this beer. It’s very refreshing and very flavorful. I dig it. Nice work from a new brewery! bagalagalaga (161) - Indiana, USA - MAR 9, 2013
A very standard IPA, not bad at all but not really standing out in any way. I guess this is the IPA to get if you support Hoosier basketball. Slipstream (2651) - USA - DEC 25, 2013
Thanks to Eric, who picked up some of these near his Bloomington home. Very impressive, fresh flavor in this Indiana pale ale. Fresh grass & floral notes, a bit of resin. Malt still comes thru. Real good. DWestrick (765) - Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA - DEC 14, 2013
bottle. Very solid IPA - tons of hops with great balance. Meets my requirements of a good IPA. Very excited to try their Imperial IPA, the Full Court. Of the 2 I’ve tried, impressed with this company

This was a solid IPA. It wasn’t too harsh nor too dull. I would have no problems drinking a whole bomber by myself. A solid local option for those in southern Indiana, this is the sort of beer that is made by people who care about more than the bottom line.
Aroma / Appearance - The golden carbonated body isn’t that remarkable. Bubbling up from the base with grass and lemon hints it teases the senses. The crisp hops and bright and bitter.
Flavor / Palate - Lemons, oranges, and flat Sprite take a while to settle on the back of the throat. The remaining flavors linger with a light bitterness. The finish is like mouthfeels of dead grass left out in the sun. Overall this is a nice beer but doesn’t quite have the same punch as the truly great IPAs. Even so I would give it a second chance.
Sampled at esbls. Golden with a hint of copper. A caramel and tangerine nose. Those are tasted with a little cinnamon. Moderate bitterness. Decent. drsordr (2736) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - AUG 14, 2013
Draft at slippery noodle. Pour dark golden. Nose mango fruit and resin. Some sweet malt. Taste some pine hop but mostly malt. Fairly strong malt for ipa. Some bitter on finish. patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - JAN 15, 2014
tap at Ft Wayne Oktobeerfest 2013 - Pours hazy copper with a lingering off-white head. It features good, crisp bitterness and a little citrus character. It’s an average IPA, so to me that makes it good. hayduke (5572) - Eureka, California, USA - MAY 7, 2014
Courtesy of Strykzone. Poured copper with off-white head. Nose of citrus hops. Medium body. Flavor is caramel malts and citrus hops. Bitter finish. Classic IPA and that is good.
