Bottle. Ruby showing off a beautiful very big head. Loads of lacing. Mild aroma of red berries, stone fruits and metal. Taste is sugar, plums, raisins, caramel, malts and cherries. Slightly sour. Some hops can be felt in the aftertaste. A little bit boozy and warming. Medium carbonation. Alcohol is well hidden. Very balanced. It's ok but somehow I was expecting a little bit more complex taste. The beautiful bottle design featuring the lovely looking nun makes up for it though.

At Brussels Beer festival September 2017. Clear ruby colour lasting beige head. brown malty aroma. Strong but hides abv well. Numbs the lips. Cold. Some dark malts. Some dark fruits. But not like an impy stout. More a strong bruin. Some fruitiness. Decent.

Robe brune limpide, grosse mousse beige.

Bottle 33 cl. pours a clear opaque brown with a small pinkish white head and an aroma of sweet malts, toffee, overripe fruits, candy sugar, cocoa and figs. Kind of nice

Beamer (111) - Malden, NETHERLANDS - JUN 14, 2017
---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml served in a Trappist chalice. Pours a dark amber cloudy color forming a big beige head with medium to low retention and some lingering lacings left in the glass. Nose is sweet and fruity. Strong notes of caramel malts and dried dark fruits: raisins and plums. Earthy and bready yeasts. Bit boozy finish.Taste follows the nose: Sweet upfront with strong notes of caramel and dried dark fruits. Notes of raisins and plums. Hints of bubblegum. Light bitterness. Heavy molasses body. Medium to low carbonation. Caramel and died fruits in the aftertaste. Good drinkability. Strong Belgian character. Good.
