Interesting stuff - red fruits, funk and light acetic notes. Complex red fruit and vinous notes with some residual sweetness and tart finish.

Lovely red fruit aromas with nice funky scents coming through, light vinegar. Taste is amazingly full of red dark fruit, pleasantly sour with a distinctive pit bitterness and amazing fruity complexity. Very good beer.

Half pint from Moeder lambic. Notes of hey and horse blanket. Slightly sweet with notes of Meyer lemon and orange. Nice.

Final especiado y seco. No se puede hablar de amargor. Postgusto ácido suave y especiado. Muy buena.

Poured from a 750ml bottle. Dark coppery colour with no head. Fizzy. Smells great, I find myself really sticking my nose into the bottle just to get more of that aroma. In terms of taste, this definitely has the profile of a Belgian saison with all the peachy, funky, hay flavours going on, but this is definitely sour - I would say just slightly below being aggressively sour. But yeah, a real tartness which would make it a lovely summer beer, but the malt and the body is what makes it satisfying even on a cooler evening. Very nice beer. For those with a fine palate, this doesnt taste full-on Geuze, its kind of a nice medium.

Draught at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels. Hazy orange with white head. Aroma of brett, a bit lactic, wood and berries. Sour and bitterish flavor with lots of wood, minerals, unripe apricot, lemon and yogurt. Dry, medium-bodied.
