3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle sampled at Sour Fest, poured a golden color, aromas of funkky citrus, oak, light pine, and some sour cherries. Flavors follow suit, intersting beer that I would drink again.
On tap at Lambiczoon. Hazy gold, white head. Dry and chalky aroma, sour, mildly acidic, a little bit of champagne in the mouth. Fizzy, medium body, acidic, white wine finish. ametras (1788) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 29, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2017 750ml bottle. Slightly hazy amber with a foamy white head. Flavors are lemon, stone fruits, apple, funk and grass with herbal and woodsy notes. Good lactic acidity, slightly acetic. Medium body, moderate to good carbonation, slick texture. alex_leit (5246) - Minsk, BELARUS - DEC 24, 2017
Bottle. Cloudy, honey-yellow color. Aroma: cheese, old hops, a little lemon, sweet malt, pear. Taste: sour-sweet, tart, malt, mild hop bitterness, tannin's, moderately sour, very good. AnG_BrgNor (819) - Bergen, NORWAY - DEC 21, 2017
Bottle. Clear golden with white head. One year after bottling and one year before bbf date. Sour with vinegar, herbs, acid and some citrus. The aftertaste is strong bitter herbs and medicine. I think the aftertaste was to much. Moravius (1511) - Berlin, GERMANY - DEC 1, 2017
“Cuvée de Ranke“, Flasche (75 cl) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin. - Goldbraun, leicht trüb. - In der Nase deutliche säuerliche Lambic-Noten, Weizenmalz, Pferdedecke und Balsamico. - Antrunk herb-muffig säuerlich, Lambic, frische pampelmusige Herbe. Mild rezent, erfrischend säuerlich trocken, dennoch weich und rund dank ganz dezenter Weizenmalz-Restsüße. - Weicher als ein Lambic und noch tiefgründiger als ein Sour Ale - große Klasse!

Orange color, very small white head. Aroma orange, apple, honey, white wine and vinegar.
Taste sour and light tart, citrus, apples, honey, hint of champagne. AllGrainScout2 (12) - HK, HONG KONG - NOV 22, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 22, 2017 Close to perfect..... I like how the malty sweetness in there balances off the sourness, making it very friendly to the palate. davidezdonz (632) - Hong Kong, HONG KONG - OCT 18, 2017
A 750ml bottle with a best before date of 28th May 2020. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass. It was a nice clear copper orange colour with a just over one finger light beige head that dissipated fairly quickly and left some spotty lacing. Aromas were tart, oak, white wine, apple, herbal and funky. Tastes tart, but only mildly sour, red apple, lime, cork, oak, funk and maybe hay with only a hint of a herbal element and vinegar. Acidic, medium to light bodied with good moderate carbonation. Overall, a nice and balanced blend of a sour ale and Lambic. Much better than the Kriek version in my opinion. rumore (865) - Rimini, ITALY - OCT 17, 2017
From the tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours golden with somehow irregular white foam, limited. Aroma is green apple, white pulp fruits, strawberries. Body is dense with a tickling carbonation. Taste is intensely sour. Finish is long and sour. AndreasP (324) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 6, 2017
Farmhouse-brettish aroma but relatively mild. Sour and mildewy taste with a lot of wodden notes in the bitterness. Great beer.
