Bottle from Bottle Baron. Cloudy orange. Nose is fermented apples, grapes, wood, funk, tart. Tastes tart and gently sour, dryish, wood, vinous, funky. Good.

Poured from a 750ml bottle. Dark coppery colour with no head. Fizzy. Smells great, I find myself really sticking my nose into the bottle just to get more of that aroma. In terms of taste, this definitely has the profile of a Belgian saison with all the peachy, funky, hay flavours going on, but this is definitely sour - I would say just slightly below being aggressively sour. But yeah, a real tartness which would make it a lovely summer beer, but the malt and the body is what makes it satisfying even on a cooler evening. Very nice beer. For those with a fine palate, this doesnt taste full-on Geuze, its kind of a nice medium.

Draught at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels. Hazy orange with white head. Aroma of brett, a bit lactic, wood and berries. Sour and bitterish flavor with lots of wood, minerals, unripe apricot, lemon and yogurt. Dry, medium-bodied.

Sour notes, cellar, funky, peach and apricot, golden/orange with a good white head, medium body, maybe not enough fizzy for me, taste is similar, very pleasant sour notes, woody, lemony...perfect beer with a little price.

Wyglad: bursztynowe, trochę mętne, biała drobnopecherzykowa piana - przez jakąś chwilę pozostaje po niej kożuch Aromat: kwaskowość, trochę slodyczy, białe owoce, dziko, stajnia Smak: wytrawne, beczkowa cierpkosc, debina, dość kwaśne - przyjemnie, dziko, nasycenie średnie)

UPDATED: APR 19, 2017 Tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Pours cloudy amber. Aroma is sweet prune, cherry, candy, sour barrels. Body is medium, quite tart and lightly sour, lively carbonation, quite some wood flavours towards the palate. That one is sour and lingering on stone fruit. Good!

minutemat (5420) - Shrewsbury, Shropshire, ENGLAND - APR 2, 2017
75cl bottle, 3 year aged (2014). Pours a hazy amber, good off-white head. Aroma of soft funky fruity flora. Taste is perfectly crisp and well balanced with a sharp, tart lambic character and a zingy tang that lingers long on the finish. Soft fruity shades, prickly grapefruit and fresh summer meadow straw all contribute to layered fruity sour notes emerging from sharp lambic funk. Very very good. Hard to find any criticism here, and I’m sure the three years this has matured in bottle has helped blossom these flavours perfectly.
