Pours a light golden color. Aroma of fruit, yeast and pepper. Flavor is sour, yeasty, and a touch of sweetness in the finish.

Degustata in bottiglia da 75 centilitri. Schiuma poco persistente colore biondo opaco, beverina.

A big improvement on their regular beer. The triple is a lot fuller and well rounded. Good body and flavor.

UPDATED: NOV 14, 2015 Dubuisson seems to think refermentation in the bottle is enough to use the ’tripel’ designation, and I guess in this case, they are right. From a 75 cl bottle, and I hope this proves to be more enjoyable than the regular version. Thinnish, egg-white, moussy head only retaining on the edges but eventually almost disappearing, draped over a lightly hazy (yet cloudy with deposit), deep and warm golden blonde beer with lightly peachy hue. Aroma has a lot of banana-flavoured bubblegum along with hints of sourdough, industrial cider and even calvados, sorrel, limoncello, Asti spumante, freshly cut grass, white candi sugar, candied apple, honey, touches of freshly grated ginger, rhubarb, canned peach, sweaty grains, gin, old dry cloth, DMTS (melting rubber). Sweet onset, canned pineapple slices, red apple, banana, some orange peel freshness and residual white candi sugar, fairly spritzy carbo, supple body, pale malt sweetness with esters and phenols on top, caramelly edge, malt and initial white candi sugar and isoamylacetate sweetness linger, finish adds some slight grassy and leafy hop bitterishness but not nearly enough bitterness to balance out the somewhat cloying bubblegum sweetness, as well as a dash of warming, young ’jenever’-like alcohol, which becomes a little bit astringent in the end; soft sweetish malts remain, along with a subtle lemony sourishness and a somewhat chalky feel. The slightly plastic-like effect of DMTS returns as well, but this effect is drowned a bit when adding the deposit in the ’soul’ of the bottle. Still a bit too harsh, too sweet, too ’bubblegummy’ and too unrefined to truly shine, this is, in all, indeed an only slightly improved version of the regular Cuvée des Trolls, which I never liked. Somewhat redundant - and I hate to say this about a Dubuisson beer.

750 from Yamaya. Spicy yeast nose, a bit of vegetal stuff, citrus. Nicely tangy flavor, hoppy citrus, crisp malt. Nicely balanced but a bit bland.

Pours pale golden, a bit hazy, with a white fluffy head. The first scent it releases is fruit, especially peach. It is followed by some biscuit, sweet malts and a hint of lemon and orange. The taste is sweet, a bit sour. The aftertaste is subtle hop and grain. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
