Tasted On tap at the Cheeky Monk in Denver, Colorado. Pours a hazy lemon yellow appearance. Sweet Belgian aroma that’s slightly skunky. Initially a sweet Belgian flavor with a strong hint of lemon. Bitter followthrough that’s dry in the finish. Not that special.

Easy to drink, but with enough taste to be interesting for those who really likes beer. Really good on tape.

nuplastikk (6105) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 6, 2010
Draft at Jacs. Served in official glass. Hazy yellow straw color, big steady creamy white head. Sweet, sugary aroma, a touch of funky, fruity Belgian yeast tone. Somewhere between a Tripel and a Saison. Sweet, sugary golden ale, with some interesting lemon-lime nuances, drinkable. A quality beer, but a little outclassed by it’s Belgian peers. Maybe a touch of wheat?

tmoreau (4164) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - SEP 26, 2010
On tap at Lunar Brewing Co., and served to a snifter, with a hazed, light orange/gold hue, and modest, creamy, off white head foam that diminished quickly to a small ring and light film. The aroma was light yeast, a fleeting hint of banana, a little spice, and some mild, apple/cider tartness. The flavor added some light sweetness, low hop bitterness, with spritzy carbonation, in a light body. The alcohol seemed very well hidden. Decent, but by no means a strong ale.

Draft at Toad in the Hole in brand (frosted) glass. Clear enough gold with lasting white fluffy head and streams of bubbles. Grainy, slightly dusty, mild berry aroma. Big corn on the cob and subtle aromatic wood flavors. Dries out well for a balanced finish. Rewarding pilsy burps.

jcr (2680) - Jasper, Indiana, USA - AUG 10, 2010
Draft. Light golden body, hazy. White, fizzy head. The aroma displays notes of toasted grain, flowers, herbs, mold with a hint of fruit, including banana and apple. The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter and lightly acidic. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Comes off light for as much alcohol as it has. Far from offensive, but still dull.
