FatPhil (17334) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - DEC 14, 2008
250ml bottle - - Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam
Pale hazy gold, small head. Not much aroma. Soft maltiness, touch of nut and hop. Taste rather nondescript, again simple malts, and a touch of alcohol. Not really selling itself so far. However, after swallowing, it improves greatly. The finish is packed full of whole hops, and it is a bit crisper, and quite tasty. One of the more subtle brews from dubuisson.

yngwie (17284) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 9, 2006
Bottled. Sparkling, golden beer with a white head. Sweet, malty nose with some fruity hops and a tiny hint of alcohol. The flavor has sweetness and some cellar, and it’s quite fruity. Medium to full body, with a quite pleasant finish of sweetness, bitterness and some cellar. (060513)

Cleay yellow / golden color, white head. Smell fresh and tastes a little fruity. Nice mouthfeel as well.

brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - MAY 9, 2010
A: The pour is a hazy light golden color with a very sturdy, creamy white head on top. S: The nose is sweet and bready with a slight spiciness to it--seems to be peppery. The hops are earthy and work well with the nose. T: The flavors are what you’d expect from the nose. The malt dominates and is bready and slightly sweet. Like a lot of Belgians, the yeast provide a lot of flavor to the beer and in this case, a subtle fruitiness. The hops are once again earthy and provide a bit of bitterness. M: The body is on the lighter side with a full carbonation and a crisp feel on the tongue. D: Not a mind blowing beer, but a nice little Belgian. Unfortunately, a little pricey, so I don’t know if I’d bother with this one again.

bhensonb (15985) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 27, 2008
Bottle at ’t Brugs Beertje. Fruit aroma. Amber color with a good white head. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Brown flavors with floral hop. Really pleasant. Finishes mildly sweet with compensating floral hop. Cute glass.

3.4
Borup (15969) - Albertslund, DENMARK - JUN 2, 2011
Bottle from Belgisk Bryg. Clear golden colour with an average white head. Aroma and flavour of spice, hops, malt and yeast

3.6
imdownthepub (15528) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 10, 2007
Bottle conditioned, 330ml at A ge Panne, Schin op Geul, NL Limburg. Gold with white head. After a tricky return back by bus from Aachen (roads were blocked etc.) a beer was required and this hit the spot. Light and hoppy (yeeha) with a spiced background (boo). Decent and long bitter finish bumps up the mark. not bad.
