Draught at BXL East. Pours pale yellow with a thick head. Aroma is fairly neutral. Taste is a bit hoppy but balanced. A decent belgian ale but really only okay. Not memorable.

Belle blonde qui fait un petit 7%vol. mais qu'on ne sent pas tellement elle se laisse boire en toute occasion.

330 ml bottle bought at Q Club in SoHo, Central.

Looks: Translucent golden yellow colour with a thin ring of dirt-like yeast-sediments; Two and a quarter finger head with crumpety white foam which last for 4 minutes; Good sticky lacing with very fizzy carbonation.

Aroma: Fragrant full malt, with orange, honey, white grapes, yellow fruits, caramel, floral, sugar, spices, earth, bread, lemon and fair grass.

Taste: Medium sweet malt, with pretty strong tartness, metallic, yellow fruits, cream soda, floral, fair sugar, spices, biscuits, yeast, lemon, medium bitter hops and grass.

Body: Full body. Dry, slick and smooth palate.

Mouth Feel: Good maltyness in a thick and creamy background. Well attenuated with kust enough sugar to counter the tartness. Rather simple with yellow fruits, floral, orangey spices and fair sweetness. Hidden booze with dry bready lemony ending. Fairly good.

Hoppiness: white grapes, yellow fruits, floral, spices, earth, lemon and fair grass in nose. Floral, yellow fruits, spices, lemon and grass in taste; Bitterness is fairly light for an abrupt, mid to low astringent sweet-tart malty finish.

After Taste: Very dry. Estery and fairly bitter to mouth.

Comments: This feels like an entry level beer for Dubuisson / Bush brand - the big body and rather wholesome maltyness are here, and the peely, fruity aroma is kinda cute, but the taste is too tart as well as a bit simplistic, while the hoppiness is a little underwhelming. Quite decent, but there are better Belgian Blonds out there.

Tap at il vizio. Golden color, clear, creamy white head. Light pale malts and straw, hay, flour, light winey floral aftertaste but really not much going on, i could mistake this with an helles, disappointing. But very drinkable, sessionable and smooth. Soft carbonation, neutral taste, light bitter, tiny sourness.

The bizarre bar tap for this beer initially attracted me to it, however I ended up sampling some of my friend’s brew rather than having a full glass to myself. Typical of the Belgian blonde style, but a very deep golden colour. Very restrained on the banana tones so this was up my street in regards to this style. Draught glass from Bier Central, Antwerp, which was very refreshing and very satisfying, but I don't think I will try it again. Nothing really lept out for me, and whilst I did enjoy, I was searching for something more after half a glass.

Aroma of fruits, yeast, grains, bread and a hint of citrus. Golden with a white head. Medium sweet and medium bitter. Medium body with a lively carbonation. Overall an OK drink, but quite boring. Dissappointing lack of complexity for the strength.

Hazy pale yellow pour with a medium sized white head. Aroma of yeast, coriander, banana and hidden malts and hops. Medium sweet and soft bitter. Medium body, medium carbonation. Easily forgettable.

Slightly disappointed in this. Aroma is good, biscuit, fresh fruit and grasses. Pale yellow with a good light head. But lacks flavour.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2017 Przyprawy, owoce - głównie morela, winogrono, troszkę cytrusów, słodowość. Średnie ciało, średnia do niskiej goryczka, wysokie wysycenie. Ciut kwaskowe. Na szczęście nie jest bardzo wytrawne i da się tu zlokalizować też trochę słodyczy.
