Commissioned by Fosca, Hainaut ale with straw blonde colour and malty character with spicy notes, not too much body, finishing a bit phenolic. Not for me. sayravai (4710) - Helsinki, FINLAND - APR 4, 2008
(Bottled) Hazy yellow-golden with a medium, foamy head. Pale-malty, slightly acidic aroma with hints of honey. With yeast it’s almost like a witbier. Orange-fruity, dry and somewhat acidic flavor with some lavendery spiciness and yeast. Yeast brings more smooth orange fruitiness and reduces the acidity. Like a mix of 1/4 Chimay Triple, and 3/4 La Chouffe. Medium-bodied, acidic, somewhat foamy and carbonated palate. When the yeast is poured in, this is quite enjoyable. Without it, the acidity is too much for me. Jerre (3376) - Waregem, BELGIUM - SEP 15, 2006
