COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sváteční polotmavý ležák vaříme ze tří druhů sladů – plzeňského, bavorského a karamelového, klasickou dvourmutovou technologií. Každý ze sladů předává pivu něco jiného. Plzeňský slad tvoří základní chuťovou osnovu, bavorský zvyšuje vnímání plnosti piva a slad karamelový dokresluje příjemně hořkou chuť vícestupňového polotmavého piva. Jemná hořkost dává vyniknout sladovým tónům piva. Pivo kvasí spodním kvašením v otevřené spilce při teplotě 13,5 °C, následuje dlouhé zrání v ležáckém tanku při 2°C. Při správném natočení je pivo pokryto vysokou pěnou se slabým karamelovým nádechem, zaujme i svojí jantarovou barvou.

Clear dee amber color, tan head with lacing. Sweet, malty taste. Malty aftertaste. Medium and fizzy mouthfeel, medium bitterness. Malty scent.

Looks like spezi. Aroma is slight nuts with some metallic malt and slight roast. Taste is metallic bitter with slightly sweet malty nuts. Quite smooth but missing body. Finish is nice malty. Sadly a not so good example of this style.

Tap at U Slovanské Lípy, Prague. Poured a slightly hazy amber colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is sweet malt, light tropical fruit, light hop. The flavour is light sweet light bitter with a smooth dry fruity, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Tap at Arts Café, Kralupy. Deep amber body, medium beige head. Strange caramely aroma. Taste is bitter with light sweet malty backbone. Fresh baked bread, caramel, roasty and woody bitterness, roots, earthy tones, hints of apples. Medium body and carbonation.
Tasty one.

Quite good.
