Damn good. Shared by daknole. Aroma is whiskey and fruit. Some cocoa, coconut, and the single malt whiskey flavor is flat out awesome. Love it!!!

Smakprov på CBC 2014. Smak och doft av choklad, kaffe, fikon, russin, trä, tobak, vanilj och laktris. Krämig, len, mjuk. Välbalanserad och bra syrlighet. Riktigt gott.

pours a deep dark brown with a thin off-white head. Aroma of caramel, molasses, chocolate, dates, raisins and coffee. Taste is sweet caramel, chocolate, slight roast, dates and booze. Nice and chewy, sweet and great for dessert!

UPDATED: DEC 17, 2013 Small growler from Eric - thanks! Deep dense brown pour with a creamy head. This is awesome! Wood, caramel, toffee, boozy sweetness, some vanilla. Love it!

Growler thanks to biggsbowler ! Pours a deep silky umber color with a finger of eggshell foam. The nose is very inviting, huge marriage of boozy whiskey and chocolate peat malt, with round vanilla toffee and dates. The palate follows the nose... so balanced rich sweet and smooth ! Great harmony between the oxidized caramel, werthers original, cola notes some nice vanilla spice... WOW !

500 mL growler. Graciously shared by Doug on 9/24/2013.

Brown body with some reddish flecks. Nice off white head. Thick collar and lots of chunks.

Whiskey aroma. Not like bourbon. Spicier and nuttier. Peatier too. Caramel and nutty malts.

Sharp whiskey flavor. Again, it’s got a spicy flavor. Caramel malt. Very nutty. I’m amazed it doesn’t have nuts added to it, really. Some chocolate, but it’s got more of an emphasis on nutty brown malts.

Medium heavy. No carbonation issues. A little boozy.

This barrel is great. The beer is a little masked, but that doesn’t bother me so much.

On tap at Cycle, thanks Doug. Dark brown pour with a mocha head. Huge whiskey aromas. Big whiskey, smooth caramel, and mild roasted malt notes. Above average body and mouthfeel. It’s boozy and delicious.....

Nice dark brown pour, tan head. Love the barrels(Prichards distillery). Sweet up front, toffee, whiskey, vanilla, golden rasins. Sweet sipper that I am very glad to try. Thanks Matt.

Ruby red pour, thick off-white head. Nose is prunes, whiskey, raisins, sweet malt. Taste is whiskey barrel and prunes, rye bread, nice subtle well-balanced flavor profile. Creamy medium mouthfeel.
