Draft pour at Cycle. Pours a hazy light golden color with a rocky head. Aroma is tropical fruit and hops, but mild. Flavor is sweet tropical fruit, with a light beer, refreshing cool finish. Beach beer here. Thirst quenching. Lingering pineapple. Awesome session. ctipping (1963) - Florida, USA - MAY 28, 2016
32 oz. crowler poured into a snifter. Originally reviewed 4/2/2015.
Dull hazy orange body. Medium white head. Nice lacing and surface wisping.
Smell has that New Zealand hop combination of herbal tones and tropical fruit. A little grainy.
The hop flavor splits into two parts. Delicate tropical fruit flavor right up front. Toasty malt right behind it before the herbal flavors kick in. Very mild bitterness.
Light and drinkable. Well carbonated.
Unique pale ale. I wouldn’t call it a hop bomb, as it is advertised, but it has a very nice hop profile. toxichop (597) - South Gate, California, USA - APR 11, 2016
Pours a hazy bright yellow with a 2 finger white head. Smells of sweet mango candy, then some odd smell, seems a bit like if it was diacetyl or something. Weird smell. Taste is on the lemony side, some grains, a bit of grass and a hint of black pepper. Noticeable carbonation with a light medium body. Overall: The smell is weird, The taste is better but I wouldn’t ask for this

Sample during RBWG Tampa, 2015. Hazy yellow pour with a medium white head. Nose is somewhat funky. Dirty tropical sea grass. Tropical fruit salad. Salted gym bag. Engaging. Flavor is similar. Nice dry, aromatic bitterness. Funky grass. Bright and easy to drink. Great low ABV hoppy number. Theydon_Bois (19203) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - DEC 7, 2015

32 oz. crowler, consumed on 11-14-15. Pours a hazy, pale brass with a large amount of long-lasting, uneven, off-white to cream-colored head. The color is a bit boring, but the head and lacing make up for it. Produces good lacing. Nice, classically West Coast American, piney, herbal, dank aroma. Also yeasty. Good, dank, herbal, mineral, slightly-bitter, hops-dominated flavor. Sawdust. Some lemony citrus. A touch of apricot. Bread dough. Dry, bitter finish. Very nice hops effect but little going on underneath. Medium body. Quite lively in the palate. The liveliness is good but the palate effects otherwise are ordinary. Simple and not amazing but an above average and overall impressive IPA. jlruthven (612) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 31, 2015
Good god. On tap at the source. Golden light orange, slight haze, head has nice structure. Big on tropical fruit, some melon, pineapple. Dry texture, but the flavors linger in a big way. Smooth carb. Wonderful. PhillyCraft (7117) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 17, 2015
On tap at source, piurs hazy vibrant golden yellow with medium white head and nice lacing. Aroma of pineapple, juicy mango, honey, and other tropical stuff. Flavor is beautiful and dank hopping, lots of kiwi and other citrus fruits. Perfectly balanced. Awesome batch of Nelson hop juice. youdictategood (467) - Florida, USA - JUL 13, 2015
On tap a couple of different places. No detailed notes - just noticed I’ve never entered it. Good session IPA - less bitter than Fixie, but similarly balanced. drowland (8629) - Georgia, USA - JUN 15, 2015
2/20/15. On tap at the brewery. Orange pour with a nice khaki head. Great aroma, tropical, dank, citrus. Good flavor, balanced bitterness, doughy, dank hops. Tasty!
