On tap at the brewery. Hazy red amber. Big fluffy white head. Smells of caramel, toffee, a little bread, and a tinge of rye. Tastes of toffee and caramel and a tinge of rye. Maybe the slightest bit of grapefruit in the finish. Medium body. It’s not the most interesting beer. andrewje41 (4085) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - JUN 17, 2016
Draft pour at Cycle. So many hoppy beers here, I had to try something a little different in their list of offerings. Reddish copper pout with a lasting fizz head. Rich, caramel aroma. So sweet on the arma, but moderate in flavor. Malt centered, as expected, with a drawn out cool finish. Overall pretty good, but it’s hard to not compare to the other offerings in the picture. Good ryerish. cgarvieuk (25291) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - FEB 14, 2016

Pint, on site. Aroma is caramel malts, some rye, grass. Flavor is mainly caramel malts with not a lot more going on the. The rye was lost to me in the flavor. Nice, either way.

Reddish amber with a moderate off white covering.
Nose is malt, perfume, biscuit, floral notes, light candied fruit trace.
Taste comprises caramel, straw, fruit peel, toasted sugar, light bread.

Not something I’d revisit but adequate for style I guess. PhillyCraft (7584) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 17, 2015

On tap. No detailed notes - just now noticing I haven’t entered Cycle beers in after several tastings. Not a fan of the style generally, but this is a very good example, with the rye adding just enough character to be interesting but not overwhelming.
