Bottle at Muted Horn. Pitch black, viscous and thick. Beige lacing. Coffee, chocolate, cinnamon. Packed with flavour. Slight roasty bitterness. Sweet and oaky bourbon. Delicious. DonGregorio (575) - POLAND - OCT 21, 2017
Bottle shared at tasting. Black colour, minimal beige head. Big aroma of vanilla, coconut, bourbon, earthy coffee, light chocolate and roasted malts. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter, of vanilla, chocolate, coffee, light caramel, coconut, with coffee in the finish. Body is close to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Great beer, very nice barrel and coffee character, although I expected a bit more. Taste from a bottle at a party. Pours dark brown. Flavor is Coffee-forward but smooth with notes of chocolate and hazelnuts. Clean mocha finish with a touch of space. Good but not getting a ton of the barrel flavor.

Bottle [from trade, thanks whoever sent me this!] @ home. Opaque black color, medium sized brown head. Aroma is malts, chocolate, coffee. Taste malts, only subtle barrel aging, mocha, sweetish mainly but in the end a light bitter, mainly malt bitter. Medium to full body, fairly soft carbonation. Solid, yet way less impressive than the other beers from this series imo. Countbeer (6599) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - MAY 30, 2017

Black beer. Brown head.
Nose reveals alcohol, dark chocolate, roast, coffee, subtle barrel aging, mocha, thick, coffee roast...
Flavour burns a bit/alcohol burn, coffee, coffee roast, dark chocolate, mocha, roast, light bitter, lighter sweet, little barrel aging...
Aftertaste is chocolate, coffee, mocha, roast, light bitter...
Low carbo, little burn as well a silky mouthfeel, full bodied.
Bit too strong alcohol/burn. Nevertheless a very tasty beer!
