On draft at Cycle. Pours a deep porter brown with some red in there and an off-tan head. Nose is chocolate, some dark fruits, plums, and a hint of yeast and sweetness. Flavor is similar with some light roast, chocolate, dark fruit, some overripe cherries and plums and a hint of earth. Medium in body and nice for the style.
Sample at Peg’s Cantina. Great name. The beer pours brownish-black with a medium creamy khaki head that diminishes gradually to a film. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, dark chocolate and coffee. Medium to full body with a strong roasty character of black coffee and malt, along with notes of earthy hops and chocolate. The finish is semi-sweet chocolate and burnt malt. Good brew overall. high_on_hops (809) - Burlingame, California, USA - JUL 5, 2014
Pours a dark black with a tan head and lacing. It has a smokey, malty aroma and a flavor of light chocolate, some smoke, and a sweet, malty finish.

Poured a dark brown almost black color with aromas of roast, chocolate, booze and some earth. Flavors match the aromas a solid Baltic porter that I could drink a ton of.

This poured a dark brown with a beige head. Aroma was of roasted malt, cola, and chocolate. Flavor was similar, pretty smooth for a bigger beer but a Tad thin. hopscotch (11180) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JUN 14, 2014
Draft... Pours black with a small, creamy, beige head. The bouquet is of chocolate chips accompanied by a light note of vanilla and a suggestion of port. Full-bodied with a slick mouthfeel and prickly carbonation. The flavor is roasty, bittersweet and vinous – sweet port or red wine. Finishes thin and a touch boozy. sloshgator (741) - Orlando, Florida, USA - MAY 16, 2014
Cycle Hashtag YOLO gets the style right. Moderate chocolate notes in the aroma coming from this dark pour with a tight head. Taste is very chocolatey and slightly roasty with a dry finish. High ABV is barely detectable; it goes down smooth. Hashtag YOLO is not overly complex but a good speciman of the style.
