650 ml as DCB DOS. Simply amazing brew!! Pours a thick black color with a thin brown head. Aromas of intense chocolate, bourbon, vanilla. Taste is magnificent!! Chocolate on the max, bourbon, vanilla, caramel, roasted oak notes. Body is full and oily with medium carbonation.

My favorite Cycle beer to date...just a massive cocoa nib bomb in a glass. Pour is absolutely pitch black and completely opaque. Beautiful dark brown head originates from a medium vigorous pour and subsides to a faint ring around the edges of the glass leaving tremendous oily legs. Picture perfect BA stout. Aroma is nothing overly complex...some bourbon, some cocoa power. Solid, but nothing out of the ordinary. Taste brings chocolate indulgence. By far the best overly-chocolate beer I’ve tasted as wave upon wave of milk and dark chocolates intertwine with caramelized sugars and vanilla notes from bourbon. As found with every Cycle Dos, the finish brings a wonderful tannin dryness and a touch of heat to remind you of the ABV. Body is rich and thick with a perfect level of carbonation...probably the best mouthfeel in the Cycle Dos family. This is just an absolute wonderful beer by itself but would take any dessert to the next level.

22 oz. bottle, pours jet black with a tiny tan head. Aroma is complex, with bourbon, dark chocolate, and light booze. Flavour is very complex, with lots of dark chocolate upfront followed by bourbon barrels and then some dark fruits later on. Complex as fuck. The barrels are used superbly and the chocolate is incorporated brilliantly. Phenomenal.

Bottle @ Saturday night tasting - The Stein & Vine. Thanks Hunter.

Bottle shared by Brian, thanks! Pours black with a very dark brown head that dissipates completely. Aroma has a sweet chocolate note with a hint of toffee, a hint of toffee and some sweet dark grains underlying. Flavor has bitter dark grains, bitter chocolate and roasted malts with a hint of barrel backing.
