22oz bottle - DCB DOS, at the dirty fib kbs bottle share. Lots of booze. Whiskey and barrel. Hershey syrup. Probably could use some age to cool off.

Bottle as DCB Dos courtesy of MeadMe, thanks for the hookup! Thick black color with a smallish tan head. Big coffee chocolate and molasses with hints of vanilla, bourbon and wood. The flavor follows the aroma but adds a bit more warming alcohol. Thick body light carbonation, silky syrupy mouthfeel. That’s a damn good beer right there!

Bottle, as DCB. Aroma is huge chocolate and a light fudge or richness to it. Not much dark coffee or roast. Pour is black with a medium brown head. Taste is rich with chocolate and fudge. Hides the 10% extremely well, no heat to it. Very good beer!

Huge thanks to Awet for busting this one out for us. Pours jet black with a small tan head, quickly dissipating down to nothing at all, leaving no lace at all on the glass.

Smells of lots of fudge-y chocolate, bit of vanilla, oak, warm bourbon, molasses, toasted marshmallow and plenty of dark roasted grains. Taste has lots of chocolatey sweetness up front slowly being joined by the vanilla, marshmallow and other sweet flavors followed quickly by the woody oak, bourbon heat and dark roast. Smooth, sweet feel is surprisingly easy to consume.

Overall this is really good. It has all of the flavors I like and the barrel doesn’t overpower the supporting cast. Can’t wait to try the other bottles!

Bottle @ THT November. Pours a pitch black beer with a great, beige tanned head on top. Aroma is great as well, loads of toffee, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon. Very complex and strong aroma. Flavor is just as deep, loads of chocolate, vanilla and bourbon again. Very sweet, slight alcoholic but perfectly balanced. Great drinking this, silky mouthfeel and smooth aftertaste. Good stuff!!

Sampled from bottle @ THT November. Opaque pitch black color, small light brown head. Aroma is malts, massive bourbon, chocolate, a hint of vanilla. Taste malts, dark chocolate slightly, massive bourbon again, warming alcohol, slightly vanilla, balanced bitterness. Full body, medium carbonation. Fucking awesome.
