(On tap @ CBC 2016 Red Session, Copenhagen) Pours black with a pale brown head. Aroma of dark, fairly roasted malts, vinous red wine notes, dark fruit, chocolate, vanilla, bourbon, a touch spicy, slightly smoky wood, coffee. Flavour is sweet to start with dark fruits, sweet red wine, vanilla, confectionary chocolate, some coffee beans, dark malt, moderate bourbon. Becomes pretty roasty later on, slightly drying, layers of roasted malt and wood, chocolate and bourbon. Medium bodied and slick with soft carbonation. Draught. Pitch black coloured. Dense brown head. ARoma. Raost, sweetness, vague smoke, coffee, vanilla, oak. Flavour. Roast, coffee, chocolate, wood, vanilla, light bourbon, vague smoke, spice. Medium to full bodied. Ends roasted bitter with a distinct bourbon touch. Nice beer.

Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, peat - smoke - wood, whisky. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, peat, chocolate, sweet malt, roasted, wood - oak. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Tap @ CBC 16 and also on mikkeller and friends. Pours black with a brown head. Aroma of dark roasted malts, deep vinous notes, slight bourbon,. chocolate cocoa and slight dark dried fruits. The taste is dark and roasted with vinous notes and some slight sweet bourbon. Also some chocolate, caramel and dry nuts.
