Draught @ CBC2015. Pours oily pitch black with a small dark mocha head that leaves a sparse spotty trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is heavy malty with roasted malts, burnt caramel, toffee, vanilla fudge, charred wood, dark roast coffee, high quality dark chocolate, black pepper corns, toasted nuts, moist soil and bourbon alcohol. Taste is sweet, bitter and heavy malty. Mouthfeel is oily, fat, round, velvety, tiny boozy and full bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with roasted malts, burnt caramel, toffee, vanilla fudge, charred wood, dark roast coffee, tons of high quality chocolate, moist soil, black pepper corns and bourbon alcohol. Huge yummy imperial stout with low roasted astringency and just fat massive yummy chocolaty malts. Amazing!
